Position Summary

Overall Purpose

The University Registrar serves as the chief administrative officer responsible for the management of student academic records, registration services, academic scheduling, examinations, certification, and the integrity of academic policies and regulations. The Registrar ensures efficient, secure, and transparent systems that support the academic mission of the university.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Academic Administration
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of academic policies and regulations.
  • Manage student admissions, registration, enrolment verification, withdrawals, and student progression.
  • Supervise the maintenance, accuracy, and security of all student academic records.
  • Coordinate academic calendars, timetables, and scheduling of classes.
  • Examination and Certification Management
  • Oversee the planning and administration of examinations.

Purpose of the Role:

Background

The Research and Innovation Unit supports teaching, learning, and applied research activities within the University. The Research and Innovation Assistant (Lab Assistant) plays a key role in supporting laboratory operations, research experiments, and innovation activities by ensuring that laboratory facilities, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and utilized in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Purpose of the Position

The Research and Innovation Assistant (Lab Assistant) provide technical and operational support to researchers, faculty members, and students. The role ensures the smooth functioning of laboratory activities, supports research and innovation projects, and maintains a safe and well-organized laboratory environment.

Working Conditions
