Job Description:
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for making payments, recording transactions, and bookkeeping (purchase & sale). You shall provide full support for our business operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Check invoices from suppliers and orders from customers.
- Prepare payments and settlements to suppliers.
- Prepare cash advances for drivers/purchasers.
- Manage office cash and perform daily cash counts.
- Coordinate closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager regarding accounting, bookkeeping, cash, and payments.
- Discuss with the Accounting/Finance team to propose reclassification or correct entries if needed.
- Monitor and follow up on recurring/advance/settlement expenses and other ad hoc expenses; provide accrual and aging reports to the Accounting team.
- Prepare Cashbooks and Bank Books.
- Process payments, TTs, and receipts.
- Maintain bank accounts, review bank statements, and prepare Bank and Cash Reconciliation Statements.
- Prepare Fixed Asset listing.
- Maintain A/P (Accounts Payable) and A/R (Accounts Receivable).
- Perform monthly stock counts.
- Report directly to the Finance Manager and perform other tasks as assigned.
- Must have an Accounting degree and at least experience for 1 year
- BBA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and strong computer skills.
- Good phone communication skills.
- Accuracy in daily work and other projects.
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Ability to function as a team player.
