Dentistry Lecturer
Position Summary:
The Full time Lecturer (1 FFE) will contribute to the academic, clinical, and practical instruction of undergraduate dental students at the University of Puthisastra. The lecturer is expected to deliver high-quality teaching for approximately 5.5 days per week (or equivalent contact hours), including lectures, tutorials, lab/practical supervision, and student assessments. The lecturer is required to deliver certain number of hours per week but also indulge in carrying out faculty administrative, academic and research activities.

- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and/or practical sessions based on the approved curriculum.
- Supervise students during pre-clinical and clinical training as per schedule.

- DDS, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, or equivalent qualification in Dentistry.
- Postgraduate qualification/ Masters degree/PhD in dentistry would be preferred.

Clinical Nursing Lecturer
Position Summary:
- Provide high‐quality, evidence‐based, student‐centered, theoretical and practical education
- in accordance with MOH nursing curriculum requirements to ensure that UP nursing
- graduates practice as competent, compassionate, and safe nursing professionals.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Education
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Education provides the academic leadership across the academic affairs/education unit, basic medical sciences unit and clinical sciences unit to ensure the development, implementation, and improvement of the academic plan within the faculty in alignment with the national and international curriculum.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Ministry of Health’s MD curriculum and post-graduate curriculum.
- Lead initiatives for the curriculum innovation and modernization in alignment with competency-based medical education and the quality enhancement.
- Ensure the compliance of the programs with the national accreditation standards (ACC) and requirement
- Coordinate the academic scheduling, timetables and examination for all lecturers across the faculty
- Coordinate and arrange the pedagogic training and promote the competency-based medical education (CBEM) within the faculty through continuous support and training to the part-time and full-time lecturers
- Working with the Teaching and Learning Manager to organize the training programs, workshops and seminars to enhance the teaching effectives and academic leadership
- Support the recruitment, orientation, mentoring and academic development of full-time/part-time lecturers of the basic medical sciences unit, clinical sciences unit and post-graduate unit
- Record and report the student academic progress by working closely with the heads of the units

- This position ensures the effective delivery, coordination, and quality assurance of experiential learning in compliance with national standards, institutional goals, and professional expectations.
- This role involves close collaboration with hospitals, health centers, industries and community sites to provide pharmacy students with practical and patient-centered clinical experiences that enhance their professional competence. The Deputy Dean also works with academic, administrative and operational teams to continuously improve the structure and outcomes of clinical programs.

Director Clinical Services
Position Summary:
- To provide effective and efficient day to day management of the UPHC (including Medical Clinic, Pharmacy and Dental Hospital 2), Dental Hospital 1, Dental Sim Lab and Dental Technology Lab
- To market and develop the UPHC and Dental Hospitals as successful businesses
- To enhance the training of UP health science students and oversee the provision of high quality health services to the public

- Work with Marketing Department, UP Dental Business Manager and Deans of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy to promote the UPHC and Dental Hospital through UP website, Facebook pages, media, signage, promotions etc. in order to recruit more patients and clients at the Pharmacy Medical Clinic and Dental Hospitals
- Provide monthly & annual reports to the President and Deans of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry on outputs, income, expenditure, challenges, events, visitors, patient numbers, Marketing etc.
- Work with procurement to purchase equipment, instruments and supplies, and organize maintenance of equipment
- Work with Finance Department related to budget, MoUs, salaries, contracts, commissions, income from courses etc.
- Work with HR related to recruiting staff, tutor lists, contracts, tutor and staff timetables, leave etc.

- Work with the Dentistry Business Development Manager to organize and run postgraduate and CPD courses which have a clinical or dental lab component, including orthodontics courses (including the new Master of Orthodontics), implant/endodontic/wisdom teeth courses, and some CPD courses.
