Academic Affairs Senior Officer

Position Summary

Position Summary:

The Academic Affairs Senior Officer will work closely with the Admissions and Registrar Manager and Admissions and Registrar Coordinator. He/She will be responsible for contributing in the operations of the Registrar's Office, oversee in overall, assist and train the subordinates, and in particular, ensuring its integrity and efficiency. The ideal candidate would be the one who can manage data efficiently; has utmost integrity; who is able to work with different departments, lecturers and government ministries and who is student-centric and has desire to serve students.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibilities of the Employee:
  • Able to plan and prioritize tasks with a good time management
  • Check all the details of all tasks which are completed by the subordinates. Ensure the accuracy and integrity
  • Coordinate data management of student’s drop or suspension
  • Issue certification letters in Khmer and English such as academic certification, letter of attestation, scholarship certification, etc. for FHS and Non FHS students
  • Work closely with to provide and support score lists, exit exams, entrance exam and other reports
  • Supervise/Invigilate student’s exams
  • Monitoring academic and student’s learning policy
  • Academic transcript, document checking & coordinate with the subordinates
  • Responsible on lecturers payrolls as requested
  • Coordinate and record exam results reports

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in administrations, education, TESOL or other equivalent degree
  • Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of data management / admin role
  • Experience designing filing systems and liaising with different departments, especially in university setting
  • Skills/Competencies:
  • Very details person and good at checking small details
  • The ability to foster internal communication with faculty, staff, students, and others, and deep appreciation of the importance of building strong relationship with the office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Khmer and English

Midwifery Lecturer

Position Summary

Position Summary:

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at University of Puthisastra is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Full-Time Lecturer to join our Midwifery Department.

This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, student-centered education that is grounded in current research and best practices. The successful candidate will also contribute to the design and delivery of innovative teaching, including online learning activities and assessments, with a strong commitment to enhancing student engagement, satisfaction, and academic support.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Course Development
  • Plan and deliver theory and practical courses in accordance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) curriculum guidelines.
  • Develop and update course outlines to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives, integration with related subjects, and promotion of higher-level student learning.
  • Teaching load: 21 hours per week.
  • Ensure all teaching is student-centered, evidence-based, and pedagogically sound.
  • Clinical and Community Practicum Coordination
  • Coordinate community-based and clinical practicum activities across the midwifery program, following the annual practicum schedule and MOH guidelines.
  • Allocate students to practicum sites and ensure they receive regular clinical follow-up and monitoring.
  • Work closely with preceptors and healthcare facility staff to ensure students achieve a high level of clinical competency.
  • Monitor practicum-related documentation and ensure compliance with internal student practice requirements (e.g., TP and related forms).
  • Academic and Administrative Duties
  • Participate in examination processes, assessments, and academic activities
  • Engage in departmental meetings, planning, and reporting as required by the Dean of Faculty or Deputy Dean of Midwifery.

  • Educational Background
  • Bachelor of Science in Midwifery, or
  • Bachelor of Nursing with Midwifery (3+1) or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in midwifery or nursing practice.
  • Experience in teaching and/or serving as a preceptor
  • Familiarity with the national Midwifery Curriculum of Cambodia.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Education

Position Summary

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Education provides the academic leadership across the academic affairs/education unit, basic medical sciences unit and clinical sciences unit to ensure the development, implementation, and improvement of the academic plan within the faculty in alignment with the national and international curriculum.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Ministry of Health’s MD curriculum and post-graduate curriculum.
  • Lead initiatives for the curriculum innovation and modernization in alignment with competency-based medical education and the quality enhancement.
  • Ensure the compliance of the programs with the national accreditation standards (ACC) and requirement
  • Coordinate the academic scheduling, timetables and examination for all lecturers across the faculty
  • Coordinate and arrange the pedagogic training and promote the competency-based medical education (CBEM) within the faculty through continuous support and training to the part-time and full-time lecturers
  • Working with the Teaching and Learning Manager to organize the training programs, workshops and seminars to enhance the teaching effectives and academic leadership
  • Support the recruitment, orientation, mentoring and academic development of full-time/part-time lecturers of the basic medical sciences unit, clinical sciences unit and post-graduate unit
  • Record and report the student academic progress by working closely with the heads of the units
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, learning and academic outcome across the faculty
  • Participate in subcommittee of the Academic Board to ensure the compliance with the UP’s policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with Internal Quality Assurance Department (IQA) to conduct the teaching survey, analyze the result and make recommendation to the Dean for the area of academic improvement
  • Ensure the exam contents are validated, aligned with learning objectives, teaching content and clinical relevance and ensure those exam contents are securely stored and protected.
  • Promote and support the research in the medical education within faculty

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Education:
  • Holding Doctor of Medicine (MD), recognized by MoH
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Medical Education or Health Professions Education or Academic Leadership or Relevant degree
  • Experience/Knowledge
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in medical education
  • Having experience or knowledge in the curriculum design, assessment and faculty development
  • Having knowledge of the competency-based medical education (CBME)

Deputy Dean for Clinical Affairs

Position Summary

Position Summary:

  • The Deputy Dean for Clinical Affairs is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to clinical education within the Faculty of Pharmacy, including clerkships, hospital rotations, and clinical skills training.
  • This position ensures the effective delivery, coordination, and quality assurance of experiential learning in compliance with national standards, institutional goals, and professional expectations.
  • This role involves close collaboration with hospitals, health centers, industries and community sites to provide pharmacy students with practical and patient-centered clinical experiences that enhance their professional competence. The Deputy Dean also works with academic, administrative and operational teams to continuously improve the structure and outcomes of clinical programs.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy clerkship and clinical rotation programs in collaboration with academic, technical and clinical partners.
  • Ensure technical and clinical training aligns with national standards (MoH and MoEYS), the​ Pharmacy Council of Cambodia, and international best practices in pharmacy education.

This role supports the Marketing Manager in executing strategic plans and ensures consistency in communications and branding across all platforms.

  • Marketing Campaign Management
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing integrated marketing campaigns for program promotion, events, and university milestones.
  • Supervise the production of marketing content including brochures, videos, social media posts, and website materials.
  • Track and report on campaign performance with recommendations for improvement.
  • Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Oversee content scheduling, audience engagement, and analytics across all social media platforms.
