IT Executive

Position Summary

Reports to: Deputy IT & Marketing Manager

Working hour: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm (90 minutes lunch break)

Role Description:

The IT Executive plays a dual role in managing the school’s network infrastructure and delivering day-to-day IT support for staff and students. This position is responsible for maintaining robust and secure network systems including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls while also ensuring that users receive timely technical assistance. The successful candidate will support both back-end infrastructure and front-line IT services, including device management, software support, user accounts, and classroom technologies. This role is vital to maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and security of the school’s digital environment across all campuses.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Network Responsibilities (50%)
  • Install, configure, and manage LAN/WAN systems, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and access controls to maintain secure network environments.
  • Coordinate with internet service providers to ensure uptime and speed across all campuses.
  • Maintain documentation of network infrastructure, including diagrams and system logs.
  • Implement and support VLANs and IP address management.
  • Ensure strong and consistent network performance across all devices and areas of the school.
  • IT System & User Support Responsibilities (50%)
  • Provide technical support to staff and students for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and applications on school devices (Windows/macOS).
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot user accounts, emails, and Google Workspace administration.
  • Maintain and support IT equipment including printers, projectors, interactive whiteboards, and classroom technology.
  • Assist with IT setups for meetings, school events, and training sessions.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and perform regular system audits and updates.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure classroom technologies are optimized for instructional use.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware/software solutions to improve system performance and user experience.
  • Assist with data backup procedures, antivirus deployments, and security protocols.
  • Participate in IT planning and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives across the school’s digital ecosystem
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT, with a strong foundation in network systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or Ubiquiti devices is preferred.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Windows/macOS systems and common IT tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain tech solutions clearly.
 
 

Marketing Assistant

Position Summary

Reports to: Deputy IT & Marketing Manager

Role Description:

The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team in organizing school events and creating content that promotes the school’s brand and activities. This role plays a vital part in executing event logistics and assisting in the development of promotional materials across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a creative and collaborative team environment.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of school events such as open houses, festivals, parent-teacher meetings, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Support in developing event schedules, coordinate logistics, and communicate with vendors, staff, and stakeholders including venue setup and catering.
  • Support in the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring smooth on-site operations.
  • Help manage event budgets under the guidance of the Deputy IT & Marketing Manager.
  • Assist in promoting events through social media, email newsletters, and printed materials (flyers, posters, etc.).
  • Contribute to the design and creation of promotional materials including invitations, banners, and programs.
  • Assist in the development of written and visual content for marketing purposes, highlighting student achievements and school activities.
  • Help manage and update the school’s social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) with engaging content.
  • Maintain the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of content aligned with the school’s marketing objectives.
  • Use basic analytics tools to report on content performance and support the team in refining marketing strategies.

Admin and Operations Officer

Position Summary

Reports to: HR and Admin Manager

Working hour: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm (90 minutes lunch break)

Role Description:

Admin and Operations Officer will be undertaking the duties that involves managing administrative tasks, overseeing operational logistics, purchasing, and assist HR and Admin Manager on tasks as the described below:

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Administrative
  • Oversee School equipment and ensure that equipment/ assets are rightly use and returned properly
  • Control on office supplies, stationery supplier, kitchen supplies, class supplies, student and teacher supplies and make sure purchases are requested and have available in stock.
  • Yearly count and update of fixed assets each year, and preparing monthly expense reports on supplies.
  • Assist in preparing staff retreat such as organizing events, accommodation and travels, etc
  • Control and monitor any request to booking the meeting room, coordinator on slide projector and make sure it’s well organizing
  • Working closely with other department and staff to organizing school activities such Parent Morning, Parent Teacher Conference, Professional Development Day, etc
  • Organize training sessions, workshops and activities for the department section in charge.
  • Any other task as assigned by HR and Admin Manager
  • Operations
  • Oversee​administration team including guards, cookers, and cleaners
  • Oversee the school's facilities, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and security.

Teaching Assistant

Position Summary

Working Hours: 7.30AM-5.00PM, Mon-Fri

Supervision: Under direct supervision of Head of Teacher Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our early years and primary education programs at Bluebird British International School.

This role involves working closely with teachers to foster an engaging and nurturing learning environment for young students from diverse cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed, helping with tasks such as reading, writing, and basic math.
  • Supervise and engage students during classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in preparing classroom materials iincluding worksheet, homework, art and craft materials and exam paper
  • Help with classroom organization and tidiness to ensure safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Student Care:
  • Assist students during meal times, support students with toileting needs, including helping with restroom routines, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring that students are comfortable and clean.
  • Monitor students’ progress and behavior, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and address any issues fast and effectively.
  • Support the emotional and social development of students, encouraging positive interactions and self-confidence.

Nurse Assistant

Position Summary

Working Hours: 7.30AM-5.00PM, Mon-Fri

Supervision: Under direct supervision of Admissions and Customer Services Manager

The Nurse Assistant supports the school nurse by providing essential health services, assisting with daily health office operations, and addressing the specific needs of young students. They work closely with the school nurse, teachers, and parents to ensure a healthy and supportive environment for students.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Support for Health Care Services:
  • Assist the school nurse in providing first aid and managing minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Help administer medications as prescribed, following the nurse’s guidance and school policies.
  • Aid in the implementation of health care plans for students with chronic conditions.
  • Health Office Management:
  • Help manage the health office, including organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the environment is child-friendly and functional.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating health records, including tracking vital signs and health observations.
  • Health Monitoring:
  • Monitor students throughout the school day for any signs of illness or health issues, and report observations to the school nurse.
  • Assist with routine health screenings and documentation as directed by the school nurse.
  • Emergency Assistance:
  • Support the school nurse during medical emergencies by providing first aid and helping with emergency procedures.
  • Prepare necessary materials and equipment for emergency situations and ensure that emergency protocols are followed.
  • Student and Staff Support:
  • Provide comfort and support to young students who visit the health office, helping them feel at ease.
  • Assist teachers and staff with health-related needs and provide information about health policies and procedures.
  • Health Education:
  • Assist in delivering age-appropriate health education to students, focusing on hygiene, wellness, and safety.
  • Support the school nurse in organizing and implementing health promotion activities and events.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a nursing assistant training program preferred.
  • Certification: Certification as a Nursing Assistant or School Nurse Assistant may be required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with young children, basic knowledge of pediatric care, and the ability to support the school nurse and other staff.
