Durian Expert/Specialist
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Durian Expert/Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in durian cultivation and a strong understanding of the challenges and needs of durian farmers. This role will primarily involve assisting our customers—who are dealers and distributors of our pesticide products—in effectively reaching out to and supporting durian farmers. The consultant will provide expert advice on durian farming practices and help promote our products as part of sustainable and effective durian cultivation.
- Customer Support & Training:
- Assist customers in identifying and connecting with durian farmers.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the specific needs and challenges of durian farming.
- Offer expert advice on the appropriate use of our pesticides in durian cultivation, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Technical Consultation:
- Advise on best practices in durian farming, including pest and disease management, soil nutrition, and harvesting techniques.
- Conduct field visits with customers and farmers to diagnose issues and recommend tailored solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars for customers and durian farmers on effective durian farming practices.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in durian farming.
- Provide insights into the durian market, including farmer needs, seasonal challenges, and emerging pests or diseases.
- Product Promotion:
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to highlight the benefits of our products for durian farming.
- Collaborate in the development of promotional materials, technical guides, and case studies that demonstrate the efficacy of our products in durian cultivation.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with durian farmers, agricultural extension officers, and other key stakeholders in the durian industry.
- Act as a liaison between our company, customers, and durian farmers to ensure mutual benefits.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in a relevant area is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in durian farming, agricultural consultancy, or a related field. In-depth knowledge of durian cultivation practices and challenges is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and advise both customers and farmers.
- Practical experience in pest management, soil health, and crop nutrition specific to durian.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently for on-site consultations.

Quality Assurance Assistant
- Working with the Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to run the purchasing department
- Performing vendor research and selection to enhance profitability, reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency
- Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities
- Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts
- Using quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management

- Be able to design and perform of demonstration plan for company staff to conduct the demo, and monitoring the results from each staff
- Search for the good Ai or new Ai which might be good to apply in local market
- Annual new products testing and update to the management team about results
- Regular promoting plan for each season and follow-up
- Maintain good relationship with key farmers & depots of each province
- Design the combination of pesticides mixture of each key area
- Other tasks that assigned by managers
- Bachelor degree of Agriculture or a related field
- Having experiences at least 2 years
- Excellent Interpersonal communication written and spoken skills in English/Khmer
- Have to work under pressure, self-discipline, and be able to do the mission travel over 20 days during the season.
