Position Summary

The Teacher Chinese Language is reporting to DH CL & KH Languages and is responsible for:

  • Delivering effective Chinese Language lessons to students of different proficiencies at Primary and High School.
  • Ensuring the development of 21st Century skills through the teaching of subjects.
  • Adopting teaching and learning styles which stimulate student interest and active involvement in learning.
  • Designing and implementing effective assessments to monitor academic standards and ensuring that the students’ learning is effective and continuous.
  • Reviewing and designing instructional materials based on students’ needs and instructional objectives of the curriculum.
  • Developing curricular resources aligned to departmental framework to support students’ learning.
  • Caring for and ensuring the wellbeing of students.
  • Encouraging and motivating students in character development and values inculcation, in accordance to school values.
  • Undertaking relevant roles and responsibilities such as class mentorship, CCA and enrichment.
  • Performing other functions as necessary or assigned by School Leaders and Middle Managers.

  • Degree in related majors from an internationally recognised university.
  • Teaching certification from a recognised institution.
  • Teaching certification with practicum or teaching experience will be an advantage.
  • Competent in Information Technology for use in Teaching and Learning, as well as data analysis
  • Strong knowledge in curriculum, pedagogy and assessments.
  • Experience in teaching in an international setting is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in education institutions.

Position Summary

To work with the School Leaders and Head of Department, Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA). The Teacher, Early Childhood Education is reporting to Head of Department and is responsible for:

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Creating daily lesson plans and learning activities for students based on Cambridge International standards in Early Childhood Education and research and knowledge of developmental behaviours.
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, demonstrations and independent practice using a variety of proven methods.
  • Differentiating lessons when needed to give all students access to the curriculum regardless of disability, instructional level, English proficiency or level of interest in the subject.
  • Evaluating student performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performance-based tasks or other standard test practices.
  • Maintaining a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modelling expected behaviours and standards, promoting positive interactions and quickly addressing behaviours that are not in line with the school discipline plan.
  • Communicating with parents regarding student progress, potential and behaviours periodically through phone or electronic means and at parent and teacher conferences.
  • Improving skills and knowledge in teaching by regularly taking classes, attending workshops and discovering new methods of delivering exciting content to students.

Position Summary

The purpose of a Teacher, Mathematics is to instruct students in subject-specific classrooms. They create lesson plans; evaluate student performances; and teach using lectures, technology and hands-on learning experiences. They also model expected behaviours to establish and maintain an orderly, disciplined classroom.

Senior Sales Officer (Student Enrollment)

Position Summary

The purpose of Senior Sales Officer (Student Enrollment) is to work with the Head, Admission. He/she is responsible for:

  • Contribute to student recruitment and Professional Development sales by working closely with the marketing and execution team.
  • Conduct “Cold calls” and contact potential and existing customers/ parents on the phone, per email, and in person to promote outreach activities, coordinate workshops and arrange visits from prospective students and parents.
  • Handle customers’ and prospects’ questions, inquiries, and complaints
  • Attend business networking events to build up reputation of SCIA and find more prospects.
  • Produce own network for sales prospects in order to attract and recruit new students
  • Creates a database of prospective and current students and/or potential candidates and track sales data to ensure the company meets sales targets by quarter and the year.
  • Support the sales team members in processes and procedures and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.
  • Provide sales tips and training to the sales team members to achieve a competitive edge in their pipeline.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant organisations, including chambers of business councils and companies that can contribute to student enrolment of the school, through networking and outreach events.
  • Support the attendance at events, conferences and workshops, booth activations including from other Divisions
  • Participate in and conduct product training and K12 talks where relevant.
  • Conduct as necessary any parents’ surveys as instructed.

Position Summary

To work with the Pre School staff, Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA). Teaching Assistant is reporting to Senior, Teaching Assistant-Early Childhood and is responsible for:

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Assisting Teachers in delivering effective learning to students
  • Preparing classroom and materials to standards set by Teachers.
  • Keeping classroom clean, organised and tidy.
  • Managing classroom displays and decoration.
  • Monitoring the progress of students and discussing issues with Teachers.
  • Supervising students outside of class time, during lunch, nap time playground time, arrival and dismissal. Students are never to be left unattended.
  • Monitoring students’ well-being and motivating them to achieve their goals.
  • Working with others to ensure efficient day to day running of Pre School class.
  • Adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Attend training to enhance professional development.
  • Maintaining the safety of students.
  • Coordination of in-school special events and celebration days.
