Founded in 2021, PMCI (People for Medical Cooperation International) is an international NGO dedicated to serving marginalized communities through mobile healthcare services and targeted health initiatives. Our mission is to promote holistic well-being by providing essential medical care and capacity-building programs. In Cambodia, we actively support the training and development of local healthcare professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to enhance medical services. PMCI collaborates closely with PMCA Hospital, its sister institution, to deliver high-quality healthcare and expand access to medical services for those in need.

Announcement Positions

Medical Coordinator (1 Position)

Position Summary

Report to: Medical Coordinator

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management of Mobile health services including on-site operation with equipment management.
  • Prepare the mobile healthcare services based on plan, and implement health projects to align with PMCI’s mission.
  • Manage budgets and staffs including volunteers in collaboration with partner agencies.
  • Provide program and financial reports after each mobile services, and monthly and annual summary report.
  • Support the sick and needy patients to recover to maximize effect of mobile service.
  • Work closely with the Advisory Group to expand mobile services
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualification needed
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with other partner organizations, communities and public institutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience in proposal writing, grant applications, and donor engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (healthcare field)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum two years of professional experience in health sector, prefer in NGO healthcare program.
 
 

General Medical Doctor (1 Position)

Position Summary

Working day: Mon to Wed)(for mobile service)

  • Conduct medical consultations and diagnose illnesses in outreach clinics.
  • Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments and medications.

  • Supervise nurses and healthcare workers, ensuring quality patient care.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and basic healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and report health trends to PMCI.
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols and ethical standards.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating outreach medical services.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid license.
  • Experience in primary healthcare, emergency medicine, or community health preferred.
  • Ability to work in remote and resource-limited settings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nurse (1 Position)

  • Administer medications and educate patients on disease prevention and hygiene.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of treatments provided.
  • Prepare and manage medical supplies for mobile clinics.
  • Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with the outreach team to coordinate logistics and patient flow.

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home rehabilitation techniques.
  • Rehabilitation Programs
  • Assist post-surgical patients with recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Work with patients suffering from neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, or chronic pain.
  • Provide training on posture correction, injury prevention, and movement techniques.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment progress notes.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, health regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation research.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Valid physical therapy license (as required by country/state regulations).
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in rehabilitation therapy (preferred).

X-ray Technician (1 Position)

  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Operate X-ray machines and other radiology equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate imaging results.
  • Follow physician instructions regarding imaging procedures and techniques.
  • Ensure proper use of protective shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Patient Care & Safety
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort during imaging.
  • Monitor and assist patients with mobility limitations.
  • Follow all radiation safety guidelines and hospital protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Compliance
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on X-ray equipment.
  • Report any malfunctions or necessary repairs to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and safety standards.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain detailed imaging logs and records for hospital documentation.
  • Assist in training new staff or medical students on radiographic procedures if required.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Certification or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an X-ray technician (preferred).

IT and Facility Manager (1 Position)

  • IT Management
  • Oversee the hospital’s IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of patient data and hospital records.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems and provide technical support to staff.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hospital equipment, including computers, medical software, and network systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect hospital IT infrastructure.
  • Train staff on IT best practices and the use of digital systems.
  • Facility Management
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and security of hospital buildings and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital safety regulations and building codes.
  • Manage facility-related contracts, including maintenance, security, and utilities.
  • Supervise facility staff and ensure timely maintenance of hospital infrastructure.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT management, facility operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, EMR software, and cybersecurity principles.
