Smiling Gecko Cambodia (SGC) was officially registered in 2014 as a local non-profit NGO in Cambodia. It provides direct aid in the form of finance and other support to the needy in Cambodia, sponsoring projects that are sustainable both from an ecological and economic standpoint. We created a self-sufficient ecosystem for rural communities in Cambodia including Smiling Gecko Campus and Farmhouse Resort & Spa and The Gong. Farmhouse Resort & Spa is located in the countryside about 65 km north of Phnom Penh, surrounded by paddy fields and rolling hills. The Farmhouse Resort & Spa has 34 tastefully furnished rooms and suites spread over 17 bungalows in a classic Khmer style and more contemporary. The resort features multiple dining options from the main Farmhouse Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over a very relaxing pool lounge bar to the dining extravaganza of “Restaurant Un” and the even more exclusive “Chef’s Table” situated at the founder’s private bungalow. The Sanctuary Spa with treatment rooms in 8 free-standing buildings, its pool, and the adjoining Sanctuary Café. The Spa menu is extensive and ranges from classic massages and couple massages to treatments with sauna or whirlpool use. In addition, the spa has a fully equipped gym as well as a small and two large yoga shalas.

We are looking for a Reservation Manager to oversee the reservations team, and to ensure efficient and effective management of all booking processes. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize occupancy rates, enhance guest satisfaction, and maximize revenue. The Reservation Manager will lead a team of reservation agents, implement best practices, and utilize reservation systems to streamline operations.

Duties
  • Manage the Reservations team & all rooms reservations processes for the hotel. For both individual and group bookings.
  • Assist the sale manager in developing new reservation/revenue SOP’s for the team.
  • Manage the reservation team to meet and exceed budgeted targets.
  • Develop the reservation team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest and customer service.
  • Ensure all email traffic is monitored, and reservations appropriately recorded and checked-dates, price, market segmentation, sources etc.
  • Manage no-show and cancelled reservations and process charges according to hotel policy.

Requirements
