Habitat for Humanity Cambodia (Habitat Cambodia) is part of Habitat for Humanity International and began operations in 2003. We work with diverse international and local non-governmental organizations, microfinance institutions, corporate partners, and local and national authorities to build a better life through safe and affordable homes.

Habitat Cambodia provides technical expertise, including safe and affordable house designs, water and sanitation programs, an innovative approach to housing combining market development, housing finance, and housing support services; advocacy for secure land tenure; and pro-poor housing solutions. Since 2003, Habitat Cambodia has served more than 175,000 families to improve their living conditions through housing interventions, WASH facilities, community development programs, and partnerships with microfinance institutions in the provinces of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kandal, Svay Rieng, Preah Vihear, Kampot, Tboung Khmum, Kampong Cham and Battambang.

Habitat Cambodia is now looking for dynamic and qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions:

Announcement Positions

Senior Finance Manager (1 Position)

Position Summary

The position leads the development and achievement of Habitat Cambodia’s strategic objectives, annual business plan, and priorities for the Finance and Procurement Units; and provides support to the National Director and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in the development, oversight, and implementation of Habitat Cambodia’s programs and budget control.

 
 

Area Program Manager (1 Position)

Position Summary

The Area Program Manager is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of the program area office. S/he ensures the designed projects, and general office operations including building an engagement/relationship and coordination of internal/external stakeholders in the targeted area to promote the Build and Influence Strategies through implementing the program of home improvement, community resilience, governance and inclusion, urban development, market and livelihood development.

 
 

Project Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Habitat Cambodia is focusing a Build and Influence Strategies through implementing the program of protection, climate-resilient, governance and inclusion, urban development, and market development and livelihoods. The Project Officer (PO) is responsible for providing overall leadership and management to the housing-related project (s).

S/he will assist the Area Program Manager in developing a new project/proposal and reporting. The Project Officer will ensure collaboration, representing projects of HFH Cambodia’s Siem Reap Area Program with NGO partners, government agencies, and local authorities are well communicated to achieve project objectives.

 
 

Community Organizer (1 Position)

Position Summary

The Community Organizer is responsible for coordinating overall field works, community development in assigned project target villages, and closely work with home-partners, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. S/he assists Project Officer to conduct project monitoring and evaluation, organize community training and workshop, prepare meeting coordination at community level, and facilitate with family to host local build and global village programs.

 
 

MEAL Assistant (1 Position)

Position Summary

Reporting to the MEAL Coordinator, the MEAL Assistant mainly works on data management by ensuring timely, accurate, and quality of the reported data. This position will coordinate and work with program staff to gather and fill all required data into the database system. S/He will maintain the data and evident documents in the designed platform and update the MEAL tools to ensure user-friendliness. This role also works on data analysis to inform decision-makers with sound data evidence in and timely manner. S/He will provide technical support and capacity building to the program staff and work on project monitoring

 
 

Volunteer for GV Hosting (1 Position)

Position Summary

The Volunteer for Global Village Hosting (Volunteer for GVH) position is responsible for coordinating fieldwork in assigned project locations and working closely with International volunteers (Global Village Program) homeowners, authorities, local NGOs, INGOs, and other relevant stakeholders. The major duties of the Volunteer for GVH include supporting to host Global Village Volunteers across project locations in Phnom Penh, on-site preparation, logistical preparation, and communication with team leaders from other countries. After receiving the GV team, the volunteer will ensure that the hosting is well-organized before, during, and post-build. After the GV team finishes and returns to their country. Volunteers for GVH will also provide GV report information to the direct supervisor promptly. Additionally, Volunteer for GVH will provide regular family updates after 3 months post-build of each team in Phnom Penh. The Volunteer for GVH will also support other units such as the program to join family selection, Communicate provide high-quality photos, and collect quotations from GV team members and local team members including homeowners, skilled workers, local authorities, and NGO partners as required.
