Native English Teacher for Early Years

Position Summary

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Native English Teacher to join our Early Years Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a native-level proficiency in English. The Native English Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering language development and creating a positive learning environment for young learners.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Teaching:
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate English language lessons to early years students.
  • Foster a creative and engaging learning environment to promote language acquisition.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles.
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and adapt curriculum materials.

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Native English speaker or near-native proficiency in English (Female only).
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification preferred (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
  • Previous experience teaching young learners, especially in an early years setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and empathy in working with children.
  • Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning.
  • Familiarity with early childhood development and teaching methodologies.

Native English Teacher for Primary

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring that classroom and curriculum meet pedagogy / standards
  • Adhere to the Ethical teaching practices, protocols and policies set - Evaluate and maintain complete and accurate files regarding the students’ academic progress and physical, social and emotional growth, and communicates with parents on the students’ progress
  • Work closely with Teacher Assistant in evaluating student’s performance and achievements regularly
  • Work closely with Teacher Assistant in recognizing student learning problems and inform to school management as necessary
  • Respect the confidentiality of student information and record
  • Prepare a weekly lesson plan outlining what will covered in class
  • Complete report card for each student for every term and fill in the comments for communication books for every week 
  • Identify the needs of students, and provides continuous assessment of their ability and differentiated instruction to meet individual needs
  • Provide effective instruction, organization and management in the classroom, which creates a respectful environment conductive to learning
  • Supervise students in classroom in a respectful and positive manner
  • Responsible for appropriate use of space, equipment, and material storage in class, teacher room and school

Teacher Assistant

Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

A teacher Assistant is an individual who provides support to the teacher and to students in an appropriate manner that improves the overall quality of education in the classroom and school.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Helps the teacher ensure that students grasp lesson objectives;
  • Support HRT in managing class behavior and supervising group activities.
  • Support with those who are special needs and disruptive during class
  • Reinforces learning to students by reviewing the course material and helping them with class work assignments;
  • Encourages students to work independently but also to have class participation and interaction with other students;
  • Provides individual assistance to students experiencing learning difficulty, explains errors, answers questions, assists research and clarifies directions;
  • Assist with providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
  • Substitute teachers if teachers are absent;
  • May have to update memos and notices, take attendance, distribute and collect assignments and prepare other classroom-related material;
  • Maintains a neat and orderly classroom environment;
  • Assist with clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
  • Supervises students not only inside but also outside the classroom is a very important role; that
  • included monitoring hallways, lunchrooms, sleeping rooms, playground areas, etc.
  • Ensuring students are safe - No running
  • Ensuring students are reporting back to class in a line or an orderly fashion and not one-by-one alone.
  • Students will use the restroom one-by-one. Not two or three at a time.
  • No eating in class – water only.
  • Required to be a respectful, cooperative, and reliable team member and participant in school activities.

  • Managing classroom technology (TV), is in working order with HDMI cable
  • Ensuring students are following HRT classroom rules during other classes (Chinese, Khmer etc.).
  • Aiding with administrative tasks such as grading and organizing educational resources.

Academic Assistant

Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The Academic Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily class operation, communication with parents, incident and accident reports.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Creates and monitor the attendance;
  • Calls to parents for student lateness and absent and school events;
  • Informs to parents about student’s incident and accident;
  • Monitors student’s safety and hygiene;
  • Does weekly and monthly report to School Principal;
  • Inducts new teacher assistants into the School Programme Process;
  • Works closely with the Leadership Team and teachers to ensure continuous improvement of the program quality;
  • Collaborates with Marketing and other departments to promote the school's learning programs;
  • Manages class schedule and attendance, including creating new and editing, assigned by Programme Coordinator;
  • Works closely with the Front Desk for parent complaint, advice and suggestions;
  • Assists in implementing student orientation and registration activities;
  • Acts to upgrade own professional knowledge and skills;
  • Assists to define and disseminate information about school disciplinary policies and procedures to parents, students and academic staff;

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to students, parents, and community members, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
