Business Development Manager

- Maximise revenue from non-health science enrolments
- Maximise revenue from UP’s health centre
- Manage UP’s international relationships and maximise enrolments in these programs

- Establish clear performance targets and objectives with the delivery of UPs Commercial strategy
- Create and review UPs’ value propositions and unique selling points (USPs), obtain and capitalize on revenue opportunities across multi-channels
- Develop Business development from Health Centres
- Increase students’ enrolments and manage Alumni and Student volunteers to maximize revenue opportunities
- Identify and manage Sponsorships, commercial partners or other routes to market to maximize revenue and reputation success
- Work with faculties to develop Commercial Opportunities particularly Continued Professional Development, new courses and commercial contracts
- Engage with stakeholders to reach a shared understanding of the developing context for commercial services and the opportunities to drive a significant increase in commercial revenue
- With others, identify new and emerging commercial opportunities and drive business development activity to capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Maintain a broad network of contacts and to represent UP at networking events and conferences Quickly develop a good understanding of the UP research capabilities and commercial opportunities and be able to explain these to potential collaborators or develop them for commercial gain
- And perform other duties as assigned by the President
- Experience:
- At least 3 years Sales / Business Development experience
- Significant experience of managing and leading commercial projects
- Good knowledge/previous experience of current approaches to education
- Experience commercial environment in Cambodia or similar country would be highly regarded
- Education:
- Bachelor’s (Masters preferred) degree in commercial or similar qualification
- A successful track record of developing and launching new commercial initiatives resulting in income and surplus/profit growth and diversification
- Experience of developing sales and marketing campaigns designed to maximize profit
- Knowledge of Cambodia higher education is preferred
- Experience of the Business/science/ICT industries is preferred
- A successful track record of developing partnerships with international partners is preferred.

Implant Administration Assistant
Position Summary: The Admin Assistant will assist the Program Director/Coordinator of the implantology courses through the provision of administrative support.

- Provide documents, information and advice to the Program Director/Coordinator regarding the courses;
- Build links with local and overseas dentists, academics, organizations and institutions to enhance the program and promote the name of the Faculty of Dentistry and University of Puthisastra;
- Recruit patients needing implant treatment;
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate information is collected;
- Make monthly reports on the courses to the Program Director/Coordinator;
- Facilitate the lectures, lab work, clinical work and assessments during the program;
- Facilitate the payment of fees by the students;
- Assist in the ordering of necessary materials, instruments and equipment, and help maintain an inventory;
- Facilitate the requirements of the clinic and lab for the course, including the timetable, equipment, supplies, student assistants, and dental assistants;
- Communicate (as necessary) with the various lecturers, tutors, and UP Departments to ensure the smooth running of the course;
- Ensure that the clinical and lab facilities for the hands-on components of the course will be available at agreed times upon the request of Program Director/Coordinator and that there are enough staff, equipment and materials for each practical session;
- Attend regular meetings and work closely with Business Development Manager of Dentistry, UP Hospital Managers, and other UP staff;
- Perform other duties as requested by the Program Director/Coordinator and Dean, including helping with the administration of other courses
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of working experience in administration or an associated field

Director of Health Science & Biotechnology
- Major Responsibilities
- Direct and manage delivery of the Bachelor of Science (Research) program
- Liaise with faculties in developing “Core curricula” trans faculty teaching of health sciences
- Liaise with stakeholders to develop and implement the delivery of health sciences for Faculties, Bachelor of Science Program and Foundation Year. To help provide solid science-based programs to promote student success for their further studies. These science units may include: biology, chemistry, biochemistry, laboratory technology, anatomy, physiology
- Work with Research Team and Faculties to develop a research agenda for the Faculty and across the wider university
- Assist faculties with the development of effective Health Sciences programs, courses (including CPD) and initiatives aimed at increasing UP student enrollment and to achieve best practice
- Other responsibilities
- Work with faculty, students and staff to implement the educational mission of UP
- Coordinate and participate actively in the editing of content involved in the delivery of instruction.
- Coordinate and participate in the evaluation of student outcomes.
- Evaluate the teaching of health sciences learning and teaching, including informal and formal performance evaluations and improvements related to the curriculum and its delivery
- Participate with academic staff in the student evaluation of teaching and the irhealth science instruction
- Work closely with all academic staff in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment with respect to the specific topics in health science as related to health care in general
- Work closely with all academic staff to optimize the use of technology to support the department’s teaching programs
- Supervise and mentor graduate and professional students and junior staff in health science
- Develop and provide strategies for developing the Health Science program strategic plan, ensuring that implementation is consistent with overall faculty and UP strategy

- Encourage and promote the highest quality of instruction, including collaboration with faculties and Learning Teaching Department on updated learning and teaching approaches at UP

- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets for all Health Sciences programs
- Manage the staffing resource for the Health Science fundamental sciences unit delivery in line with UP’s policies, procedures and best practices, including recruitment, performance management, appraisal and development
- Provide support and guidance for students in their studies and in conjunction with faculties and departments, undertake any required support of students

Research Fellow
Position Summary:
This position in the Research Department is to support research activities at UP. Including research project support (from writing concept notes/proposals, writing budgets and reporting), developing training programs/internship programs/workshops, student thesis facilitation and administration with faculties and supervisors (including support around supervision, examination feedback), and ensuring relevant associated quality processes and systems. Skills with social media, multi and digital media to communicate research would be an asset.

- Build the capacity of the academic and non-academic staff within the Department of Dentistry through promoting educational opportunities, leadership and support;
- Oversee the provision of education of dental students in the Department of Dentistry in accordance with:

- Vision, mission, core values, and policies of the University of Puthisastra
- International trends and best practices;
- Within the constraints of the National Curriculum, improve the curriculum where possible to ensure students are getting the best education possible;

- Work closely with Deputy Head of Dentistry and lecturers to produce standard course outlines for all courses and ensure the quality of those courses, i.e. course content based on current standard textbooks and journals, and courses which are well linked from one to another;
- Recruit quality lecturers and tutors, evaluate their teaching performance, and arrange necessary training to build up their capacity;
- Manage the development of the new dental hospital, including design, equipment, personnel, protocols, forms, marketing, etc.
- Provide sufficient supporting educational resources, eg laboratory, library, clinic etc, and help provide supporting programs such as clubs, community activities etc. for the students;
- Build up academic relationships and cooperate with external institutions (local and international) to improve the university and facilitate students’ participation in workshops, conferences, exchanges, field trips etc, and link students to the potential labor market;
- Create a good working environment within the Department;
- Lead the budget planning for the Department of Dentistry;
