Head, Virtual Banking & Payments

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Work out with Finance & Strategies department to develop the annual budget for all related digital banking and payments including online platforms.
  • Drive the digital banking and online payment agenda in order to assist MCP to grow the customer base and online transactions via conventional and digital channels.
  • Plan, formulate, and
  • Develop the new payment and digital platforms/services initiatives as well as the enhancement of the existing related platforms and services in a timely and innovative manner to ensure MCP remains competitive and ahead in the market.
  • Formulate and develop the payment and digital banking business strategies as well as sale campaigns in order to strengthen the adoption and usage of digital platforms/channels.
  • Regularly monitor the related sale performance report under digital and payment business department and take necessary actions to enforce and/or reinforce the sale performance at branches.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the payment and digital banking industry – both locally and internationally via market insights and intelligence.
  • Manage all the staff under Virtual Banking & Payments department for ensuring good team work environment, team development and higher productivity.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field such as finance & banking/Commerce/IT/Sale.
  • Solid experience in business development and sales with a good understanding of digital and social media business.
  • Sound knowledge/experience in project management along with good understanding of business and technical workflows and processes including developing/revising processes, policies and procedures.
  • Able to use both qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skill with the ability to drive performance of the team as well as the business.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial capacity in business development and project management of a Bank or financial institution, preferably in similar role.
  • Flexible with the ability to assimilate quickly into a demanding role/environment.
  • Adaptive to and/or embrace change with a digitally mindset.
 
 

Centralized Operation Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Monitor on daily check Outward clearing to ensure that checks is balanced and clearing report is prompt submitted. At the end of the day consolidate Inward check returned and notify branch via email.
  • Monitor on Inward Check clearing to ensure that customer’s accounts is debited, and Checks which no fund is promptly notify to respective branches.
  • Process of Local Fund Transfer to ensure that it’s met SLA.
  • Monitor on Fund Transfer via Internet Banking to ensure that transaction is timely pick up the processing is within SLA.
  • Attend any project that assigned by HOD.
  • Make an initiative for department growth.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Qualification in Marketing, Finance, Banking, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in outward clearing and inward checking.
  • Strong leadership and people management skill with the ability to drive performance of the team as well as the business.

Senior Internal Auditor

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess risks relevant to the activities under review in order to establish the audit plan.
  • Solicit feedback from the management and auditee on areas of concern and higher risks.
  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the internal audit’s requirement, methodology and appropriate standards prescribed by IIA.
  • Identifying the resources needed, including manpower, tools, knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare the audit work schedules which should include objectives of the audits and budgeted man hours.
  • Ensure that the working papers are adequately support the audit observations, conclusion, and recommendations to ensure audit objectives are achieved.
  • Exercise professional judgment to determine whether the findings are significant enough to be reported.
  • Ensure the responses provided by management/auditee are relevant to the audit issues.
  • Discuss with auditees to ensure that audit communications are accurate, objective, clear concise, constructive and timely.
  • Ensure that audit assignment is completed within the budget time and deadline set.
  • Ensure the preparation and submission of audit reports conformed to department’s standard.
  • Participate in projects and process improvements projects.
  • Carry out investigation work as directed by audit management.

Customer Due Diligence Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Support divisional heads (CFS,CTB) to provide informed and evidenced confirmation to CEO/Board that the division is compliant with policies and risk appetite, e.g. by monitoring comprehensive divisional AML/CFT reports including AML/CFT metrics such as quality control/assurance metrics
  • Prepare divisional AML/CFT reporting (including consolidating inputs from 1st LoD) and provide input for AML/CFT reporting
  • Evaluate and escalate divisional risk appetite breaches to 2nd LoD as required
  • Provide business specific input for process design of key AML/CFT related processes and controls, e.g. KYC, client screening, transaction monitoring to make sure a balance between customer experience and control stringency is achieved
  • Regularly perform training need analysis for respective business and identify training needs for specific employees; align with 2nd LoD and training team to tailor training material to operational business specific requirements, e.g. regarding simplified KYC process
  • Coordinate execution of face-to-face training sessions regarding operational business specific Training
  • Liaise with AML/CFT on the requirements and timeline for enterprise-wide risk assessment
  • Distribute self-assessment questionnaire and communicate timeline/requirements to frontline Provide advice to assessors where required and consult FCC if necessary
  • Review questionnaires filled out by assessors, collate and distribute filled out questionnaire of enterprise wide risk assessment to FCC
  • Support product-related confirmation that AML/CFT product-risk is adequately assessed/reflected
  • Design name list screening process in accordance with policy requirements
  • Liaise with the business to understand business specific requirements, challenge these and take decision regarding incorporation in the respective process/controls

Customer Due Diligence Executive

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Perform Quality Assurance (for all CDDs)
  • Coordinate and conduct related training to branch staff pertaining to CDD process
  • Prepare/develop slides presentation and related training materials
  • Liaise with the business to understand business specific requirements, challenge these and take decision regarding incorporation in the respective process/controls
  • Perform name list screening (World-Check and OCISS) and handle all alerts for name screening and make final decision on cases
  • Update results of screening investigations as per defined process
  • In the case of true positive hit on high risk individual: (i) Advise branch as required on agreed action plan,(ii) Coordinate customer exit across divisions
  • Monitoring and alerting branches on the due review (on-going customer due diligence- OCDD) of high risk customer.
  • Coordinate with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) as required
  • Other task will be assigned by the reporting line manager or Head of department

Bank Executive Trainee & Teller Trainee

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Cooperate Affairs & Communication Trainee (CAC)
  • Executive end-to-end creative production of all online and offline marketing activities, graphic design, photography, videography, etc.
  • Manage the marketing collateral and stock-keeping
  • Assist in rolling out marketing activities and CSR programs
  • Take a role in event organizing and management
  • Support the collection and recovery the performing routine administration and finance tasks in CAC including legal documentation
  • Maintain accurate and organized collective files and calendared items
  • Be well-planning for and ready involving all the marketing activities and events
