Position Summary
Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President for Administration and Research is a member of KIT’s senior management team and is responsible for overseeing all business and financial matters of the university, including property management and maintenance, human resources, information technology and finances. He or she will develop flexible, integrated and practical solutions to enhance the student experience and enable the academic, research, and innovation role of the university that will enable KIT to lead with excellence. He or she must have the ability to lead, inspire and execute KIT’s vision, missions and strategies. He or she will represent the university to outside communities, including the business and industry leaders, higher education institutions, students and their families and the government agencies. This is a full-time position which is based in Kirirom National Park, Kampong Speu Province.
- Main Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the President and works with the senior management team to ensure that the operations of KIT are aligned with the university’s vision, missions and long-term strategic plan;
- Ensures the current and long-term effectiveness of all financial functions of the university;
- Overseas information technology systems that support office-wide technology planning and performance;
- Assists the President and the senior management team in KIT’s external relations, fundraising and ceremonial activities;
- Prepares official reports as required by KIT’s Governing Board, the Directorate General of Higher Education and other authorities and partners;
- Coordinates and work closely with the Vice President for Academic Affairs in cross-cutting areas including campus development, resource planning and allocation, external relations, student services and staff professional development;
- Supervises the university safety and risk management office to ensure effective coordination of programs for campus safety;
- Oversees all matters with respect to non-academic affairs, including contract management and negotiations; and
- Carries out other duties as delegated by the President.
- Minimum Qualifications
- A PhD in Organizational Science, Business Administration, Tourism or related field;
- A minimum of five-year years of full-time working experience in an education or research setting;
- Sound understanding of current issues in higher education, including governance and management, student affairs, digital education, faculty development, internationalization and industry-university partnerships;
- Demonstrated experience in and commitment to working collaboratively with faculty and academic staff;
- Ability to resolve conflicts and build consensus and effective internal and external relationship-building skills;
- Qualities of genuineness, sound judgement, fairness, creativity, discretion, decisiveness, diplomacy and adaptability;

Administration & Research Assistant (1 Position)

- Main Responsibilities
- Assists clerical/administrative and research-related activities under the guidance of the VP for Administration and Research.
- Performs administrative work such as scheduling meetings/events, minute-taking, correspondence, appointments, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Handles all paperwork and correspondence with high level of trust and confidentiality.
- Actively involves and contributes to in staff recruitment and selection process.
- Involves in events organized at or by KIT.
- Ensures a smooth flow of information and communication with the VP and across different departments/offices of KIT.
- Ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of internal correspondence among faculty members/staff of KIT.
- Serves as an ambassador for KIT in all forms of internal and external correspondence.

- Main Responsibilities
- Teaches courses (offered by Department of Architecture) online;
- Creates and administer related assignments, activities, tests and exams that will enhance or assess a student's ability and skill;
- Prepares the attendance records for all the lectures and submit these records to the Head of Department (HoD) and the Administration & HR Office;
- Shares knowledge, skills and experience with the students and help them in pursuing their profession;
- Keeps the HoD and the Vice President (VP) for University-Industry Linkage informed of any internship opportunities for the students;
- Works closely with the HoD and the VP for Academic Affairs;
- Contributes as much as possible to the development and improvement of the teaching and learning at the Department of Architecture;

- Manages President's calendar;
- Schedules internal and external meetings and follow-up tasks of the President;
