Footprints International School (FIS) is a school dedicated to raising the quality of education in Cambodia. We run a bilingual program, allowing students to develop competence in Khmer and English, which covers a core curriculum focused around the 4 disciplines of math, language arts, science and social studies. Computers, health, art, music, swimming and PE are incorporated through our program of learning to achieve a more integrated approach to education.

We also make sure that our students and community embraces our values, which is compassion, determination and responsibility.

Our two main campuses are located in the center of the city of Phnom Penh, Tuok Kork (TK) and Tuol Tumpoung (TTP).

FIS is licensed with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, internationally accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and registered with Cambridge International Examinations for our primary and secondary programs.

We are looking for individuals with high professional integrity and qualifications to join our team.

*** International teachers wishing to join FIS must provide a recent criminal background check report and/or health check report from their home country, at their own cost. FIS provides supporting services to all international teachers in order to travel and extend their stay in Cambodia during the course of their contracts.

Duties
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Instruct the set curriculum and prepare in advance all materials and lessons.
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning by utilizing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Prepare a monthly overview document outlining what will be covered in the class (scope and sequence).
  • Complete student report cards in each term/semester for each student.
  • Create newsletters and/or other communication materials for the class.
  • Maintain facilities, resources, and materials in his/her classroom and the school.
  • Provide care and ensure the safety and well-being of every child in the school, ensuring adequate supervision of safe recreation and play period for the students during class recess or break times.

Duties
  • The focus of the Program Principal role is supporting student learning and ensuring the quality of the program service deliveries in three main areas: curriculum, instruction and assessment in all campuses. 
  • Plan Program Resources and lead the WASC self-study process and subsequent reporting, school-wide action plan and producing other reports for the program and any assigned campus. 
  • Formulate learning related policies and monitor student assessment protocols and data for decision makings and progress.  
  • Administer program resources and conduct professional development activities for program personnel

  • Work with the Head of Campus to oversee the implementation of the academic program and disciplines and observe their coordination, alignment, and consistency against the students’ learning at campus level.
