The NGO École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule is the personal initiative of Paul Dubrule, co-founder of the hotel group Accor. Founded in Siem Reap in 2002, the school has progressively established itself as one of the most renowned vocational education institutions in Cambodia. In close collaboration with the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne, the school provides hospitality training to over 300 young Cambodians every year. The School has a training restaurant, four training hotel rooms and seminar facilities.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the positions as below:

Announcement Positions

English Language Teachers

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop and deliver courses based on the school’s ASEAN curriculum for tourism professionals.
  • Assist with alignment of assessment, learning objectives and instructional strategies.
  • Prepare instructional material including audio-visual presentations.
  • Initiate and design additional materials to supplement other programs.
  • Prepare and set exams; provide constructive feedback on oral and written work.
  • Collaborate with a team of specialty teachers and regularly review student achievement.
  • Nurture a student-centered learning environment.
  • Establish and maintain a classroom environment that promotes a high level of respect for others, personal accountability, and academic achievement.
  • Produce semester reports on student achievement and progress.
  • Attend meetings and participate in school events (open house days, career fair, admission sessions etc.).
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Native Speakers of English: University degree in education or similar field, recognized TESOL qualification.
  • Cambodian Speakers of English: University degree in English language teaching.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in teaching English to adult learners.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; positive attitude and work ethic; well groomed.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and E-mail)
  • Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an advantage.
  • Adhere to the ethical teaching practices as set by the school policy.
 
 

Teacher for Restaurant & Bar Services Program

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop and deliver the ASEAN-based Restaurant & Bar Services program.
  • Perform all pedagogical tasks related to the program (lesson planning, material development, exam
  • preparation, assessment, evaluation of learning outcomes, reporting, etc).
  • Provide a framework of practical knowledge for students approaching these subjects for the first time.
  • Ability to train, teach, and develop the students.
  • Prepare and set exams; provide constructive feedback on oral and written work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and regularly review student achievement to enhance the academic program.
  • Establish and maintain a classroom environment that promotes a high level of respect for others, personal accountability, and academic achievement.
  • Liaise with tourism/hospitality partners; conducting workplace visits during students’ internships
  • Attend meetings and participate in school events (open house days, career fair, admission sessions etc.).
  • Actively participate in learning, training and own professional development.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree or Diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a food & beverage related environment.
  • Experience in vocational training (ASEAN certified trainer is an advantage).
  • Strong command of spoken and written Khmer and English.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; positive attitude and work ethic; well groomed
  • Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills; high degree of flexibility.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Adhere to the ethical teaching practices as set by the school policy.

Training Restaurant Supervisor

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the operation in the training restaurant (including bar, pantry).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures (including hygiene standards).
  • Monitor cash flow, F&B stock and inventory.
  • Report daily results of the operation through the POS system.
  • Maintain rapport with all departments and attend relevant meetings.
  • Assist the F&B teacher in training students on specific practical skills, including POS system operation.
  • Ensure that all steps of services as outlined in training materials are followed on a daily basis.
  • Provide guidance to students towards continuous improvement.
  • Participate in school events (open house days, career fair, graduation ceremony, board meeting).
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years professional experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Confident to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and the team.
  • Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service; strong service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment; positive attitude and work ethic; well groomed.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel); ability to use POS system.
  • Adhere to the ethical teaching practices as set by the school policy.
  • Experience in training and teaching is an advantage.
