Underwriting Clerk
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Assist underwriters to review and check underwriting applications to ensure they meet the required standards and guidelines
- Collect, review and verify all necessary documentation for underwriting
- Communicate with underwriters, account handlers, and brokers to obtain additional information as needed
- Maintain accurate records, copy, scan and files on all underwriting activities
- Prepare reports and maintain databases related to underwriting
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Underwriting Manager from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administrative, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh graduate or university student are encouraged to apply
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Friendly, responsible, team work player
