GIZ is a Federally Owned Enterprise and is supporting the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
In Cambodia, GIZ currently has around 18 projects/ programs with 200 to 220 national staffs and 55 to 60 international staffs to support development processes focusing on strengthening the country’s social protection and health system, supporting decentralization reforms, strengthening framework conditions for inclusive economic development, and sustainable supply chains, among others. The Country Office in Phnom Penh is in charge of commercial, administrative and financial affairs of the projects /programs in the country.
We intend to seek a Cambodian resident consultant(s)/a locally registered consulting firm to award the services/ works described in the enclosed Terms of Reference (ToR).

Offers must be submitted in a big-sealed envelope (duly identified as technical offer and separated by a smaller sealed envelope identified as financial offer “Please put the financial offer in another envelop and put in the same technical offer envelop”) to mentioned address, with the subject: Offer No. 83462731 – Translation & Interpretation Services until 17:00 on 11.09.2024 (offers sent after this date will be automatically disqualified). If more than one offer is received from a bidder in response to a tender, only the most recently submitted offer will be considered.
All tenderers will be informed in writing of the results of this tender process.

NB: NGOs wishing to join this tender must have a valid business certificate (Patent) showing that they can provide commercial services to the public.
For local consulting firm registered officially in Cambodia, please also attach a business license, Tax certificate and Paten. The offer is net and subject to value-added tax (VAT) according to the Cambodian Tax Law.
For Cambodian resident consultant as a Cambodian or foreigner, if they are a foreigner, please also attach your EB Visa, Work Permit and proof of legal resident in Cambodia. The offer is gross inclusive of Withholding Tax 15%. The withheld amount will be paid to the tax authority by the GIZ to comply with all the given requirements.
