We are looking for a Tour Guide at Farmhouse Resort & Spa ensures exceptional guest experiences by coordinating tours, supporting front desk operations, and coordinating with departments. This role requires strong communication in Khmer and English, organizational skills, and a proactive, friendly demeanor.
- Tour Guide:
- Informing all SGC departments about project tours taking place.
- Booking and arranging all necessary transportation for the tours.
- Guide and implementation of all tours that are offered within Farmhouse Smiling Gecko.
- Preparing all necessary items which are needed for a tour.
- Provide the best service towards the guest with professional manner.
- Time management according to program and tour itinerary.
- Accompany guests for pickup and drop-off if required.
- The tour guide can even take over the early and late shift at the Front Desk.
- If there are no tours, the Tour Guide actively supports the Front Desk team with all tasks at the Front Desk.
- Front Desk:
- In charge of all preparation for the check-in and check-out of the guests
- Responsible for the invoicing, using the existing templates and lists, Settlement of the daily income
- Responsible for the daily check of the times in the time recording system for staff (Pro Timer)
- In charge of planning the transportation for the guest
- Responsible for the Outlook E-Mail Inbox (info@farmhouse-smilinggecko.com)
- Responsible for the cleanliness at the Front Desk, around the Front Desk and in the Front Desk office
- Nice welcome and care personal farewell of the guest included check-in and check out
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
- Delegates daily tasks to Front Desk staff
- Responsible for the quality of service at Front Desk
- In charge of the daily processes at the Front Desk
- Handle all reservation requests (rooms, meetings, and restaurant)
- Handle all requests from guests
- Take care of all associated correspondence in English and Khmer
- Controls cash transactions at the front desk
- Ensure Front Office logbook and tour program are always updated and organized
- In charge of proper invoicing for 3rd parties (DMC, TA, Organizations, Companies…)
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Manager

- High School Diploma in /Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism or training course in related tour guide field
- At least in guiding or leading group of guests for 2 years
- Having good verbal communication skills both in Khmer and English is a must
- Communicative ability of different languages is favorable
- Having good presentation skills.
- Having excellent knowledge about points of interest of specific cities.
- Computer skills: Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word& Excel), Internet, E-mail.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive a car is required.

- Teach General English and Specific Purpose English to internal staff to meet real business situations.
- Check student’s attendance, monitor and report student progress.
- Create curriculums including training contents and materials, course outlines, and course competencies.
- Create weekly lesson plans to deliver quality education.
- Make sure students are well-behaved and disciplined.
- Communicate effectively with staff and heads of departments.
- Take an active part in the ongoing school improvement processes.
- Liaise closely with the Training & Development Manager to achieve overall strategic plans.
