The project focuses on strengthening the evidence base, promoting gender-responsive methodologies and indicators, enhancing institutional capacities, and supporting the implementation and monitoring of gender-responsive actions under national frameworks, including the NDC 3.0, National Adaptation Plan (NAP), and National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP).

To support these efforts, FAO seeks to recruit a Technical Expert (Gender, Climate Change and Biodiversity) to provide technical assistance to relevant government institutions, particularly the Ministry of Environment and its Gender Mainstreaming Action Group (GMAG), in strengthening gender-responsive climate and biodiversity policies, monitoring frameworks, and institutional capacities.
