Northbridge International School Cambodia is looking for a talented Teaching Assistant to join the school's dynamic Learning support team. Position Summary

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Report to: Teacher and Head of Primary

Start date: ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support children with their learning activities in the classroom
  • Work closely with teachers to make sure pupils enjoy learning in a safe and caring setting
  • Getting the classroom ready for lessons
  • Listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
  • Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
  • Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
  • Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Supervising group activities
  • Looking after children who are upset or have had accidents
  • Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
  • Helping with outings and sports events
  • Taking part in training
  • Carrying out administrative tasks
  • Dealing with simple enquiries, and having the judgment to know when to pass them to more senior colleagues
  • Other appropriate duties as allocated by members of the SLT
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Be able to communicate in English
  • Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office
Soft Skills
  • Posses good communication skills, be friendly and love the students;
  • Demonstrate evident of innovating and adapting curricular to engage children and enable them to perform highly
  • Enjoy working in an intercultural context
