Teaching Assistant
The Teaching Assistant is responsible for supporting Teachers and helping students within a classroom environment.
- Set up necessary material for classes such as photocopying, printing, preparing materials and resources for classroom activities
- Supervise and take care during meal time, break, nap times, and extra activities
- Create and maintain classroom displays as instructed by the class teacher
- Track student attendance and class schedules
- Escort and supervise students in field trips and school activities
- Make sure classrooms are safe and tidy before classes start
- Help students adjust, learn and socialize and report to teachers about possible behavioral issues
- Supervise and take care on daily operation such as drop-off and pick up times
- Participate in school professional development training
- other tasks as assigned by their homeroom teachers
- Hold or currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree of related field
- Has good English communication skills both written and verbal (Has French communication skills is a plus)
- have a significant experience working with children from 2 to 6 years old
- Has some experience working with Children with Special Needs
