Job Available At KKEV Cambodia
We are looking for a full-time Teacher of English to be based in our Children Village Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It is open for Cambodian national only.
We are on the search for a delightful and self-motivated Teacher of English to effectively run English classes for our children. Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Areas of Responsibilities:
- Ensuring classroom is effectively managed and controlled
- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to the range of English classes and age groups
- Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises
- Reporting teaching plans and test result to Education Manager
- Setting and correcting homework for students
- Improving and strengthening morality and courtesy of the children
- Developing abilities on communication skill in English of KKEV staff
- Discussing teaching techniques in order to improve children’s English knowledge
- Advising children to study hard in the class as well as outside the class
- Preparing score list and making classification
- Other Responsibilities:
- Ensuring children at all times are protected from physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and report any mistreatment or abuse of children
- Acting at all times in a professional and ethical manner, with appropriate role modeling for all children
- Following other duties as reasonably required by management team
- Respect child rights, privacy and confidentiality at all times, by involving children in case planning, ensuring that their privacy is protected, and not disclosing sensitive or private information to other children, or other agencies, without permission by the child, with consideration of the child’s development, and other safety issues.
- Bachelor of Arts in English or English Education (junior & senior are also motivated to apply)
- Knowledge of teaching methodology
- Knowledge of child development and protection
- Be willing to learn and self-improvement
- Honesty and patience with children
- Be able to work independently and under pressure
- Good command of spoken and written English
- 1-2 years of experience in teaching English is preferred but not a must
Computer Teacher

- Planning, preparing and delivering lessons (Microsoft Office) to the range of computer classes and age groups
- Preparing and setting tests, examination papers, and exercises
- Reporting teaching plans and test result to Education Manager
- Setting and correcting homework for students
- Improving and strengthening morality and courtesy of the children
- Discussing teaching techniques in order to improve children’s computer knowledge
- Advising children to study hard in the class as well as outside the class
- Preparing score list and making classification
- Other Responsibilities:
