Kumon 7 Makara Skybridge Centre is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to enhance our education environment. This role involves supporting our centre by managing worksheets, assisting students, and performing various administrative duties. Position Report to: Chief Instructor
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accurately mark and record student’s worksheets.
- Prepare and organize worksheets for upcoming classes.
- Observe and assist student to ensure they are effectively engaged in their learning.
- Carry out administrative and management tasks as needed.
- Communicate students’ progress to chief instructor regularly.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in English Language or Education Degree
Work History:
- At least working experience for 1 year
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Speaking and Comprehensive Skills in English language.
- Abilities to understand lesson plans, prepare children assessments, and assign grade levels.
- Ability to work during evening and after-hours.
- Well-organized and committed to work.
Soft Skills
- Work well with young children aged 3 till 16.
- Ability to exercise patience when interacting with children.
- A caring and approachable nature.
