Location: RUFA New Campus,
Reports to: RUFA Accountant office, Head of Finance Unit, and Project Coordinator
The Supporting Staff for Accounting will assist the RUFA HEIP 2 Finance team with daily transactions, logistical, and project coordination tasks. This role is critical to manage accounts payable/receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and updating financial software.
- Support the daily accounting-related tasks and processing.
- Provide logistical and clerical assistance for finance and reporting processes.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for financial project documentation.
- Coordinate with other project implementors for supporting financial documents including invoices, receipts, and others.
- Provide support in data collection and record-keeping through accurate journal entries, maintaining of the general ledger, and systematic organization of financial documents.
- Assist with data entry and documentation for monitoring and evaluation purposes
- Assist in reconciling cash balance, bank statements, and account balances.
- Support closing procedures, including reports preparation, and accounts reconciling
- Handling queries, and managing expense tracking.
- Monitor progress on project deliverables and support follow-up on pending tasks.
- Ensure compliance with RUFA financial procedures and HEIP 2 guidelines.
- Supporting internal/external audits and ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial regulations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders involved in the project.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree with relevant experience).
- At least of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business field or experience with donor-funded projects for 1 year is preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with accounting system (QuickBooks...).
- Good communication skills in Khmer and English; working knowledge English is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of team.
