Supply Chain Manager

The successful candidate will support a sustainable performance Team by working collectively with our Senior Planning Teams in China, Ireland, USA, and working with our international and local vendors, ensuring deliveries are on time.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Inventory turnover rate.
- Order accuracy and shipping times.
- Stockout percentage.
- Inventory carrying costs
- Inventory & RM: Ordering accurate quantities of required raw materials based on production and planning seasonal requirements
- Supplier management: Manage, Maintain and improve supplier relations, costings and lead time where necessary. Liaise with all local and international vendors to manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing.
- Team Leadership: Manage all inventory planning and warehouse operations teams, reporting directly to the General Manager and Production Manager.
- Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and interim audits.
- Warehouse Organization: Maximize limited storage capacity and efficiency through strategic layout redesign and mapping, while strictly enforcing fire codes, safety regulations, and OSH compliance.
- Internal Demand Planning and Forecasting: Inc.
- Analyze historical seasonal orders and production to determine optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste and bottlenecks.
- Ensure accurate stock is available and supplied to manage production requirements
- Production Scheduling: Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely, accurate stock provisioning and precise material control aligned with manufacturing timelines.
- System Optimization: Initiate and implement ERP system utilization to reduce manual tasks and enhance purchasing process efficiency.
- Cost Administration: Manage product costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), raw material price variances, and consumption variance.
- Financial Alignment: Coordinate with the accounting team to reconcile quarterly stock records and maintain product standard costing accuracy.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
- Experience in purchasing and stock management skills ( FIFO ) system
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and leaning manufacturing principles.
- Leadership/Communication: Experience in training warehouse staff and managing supplier relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data for forecasting demand and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
