Supervisor (Full Stack Development), IT

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Benefit:

  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Transportation Allowance: Provided monthly gasoline allowance for traveling from home to work and back home.
  • Transportation Gasoline: Provided to Outside Staff for Business’s purpose based on roles and responsibilities.
  • Motor Rental: Provided to Outside Staff.
  • Maternity Allowance: Provided for baby delivered to Male and Female staff.
  • Marriage Allowance: Provided to all staffs.
  • Funeral Contribution: Provided to staff for staff’s relative in 1st generation.
  • Outpatient Coverage: Provided to all staffs and staff’s children.
  • Bonus: Twice per year for Khmer New Year and Pchum Ben festival
  • Salary Increase: Once a year
  • Seniority payment: 15 days of salary per year (in June and December)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Develop applications using Node.js, and other JavaScript frameworks. Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of both front-end and back-end components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Mentor junior/senior developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and career development. Foster a collaborative and learning environment within the team.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Oversee the deployment of applications in production environments. Monitor and troubleshoot issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development, with a focus on Node.js.
  • Proficient in Node.js backend, and related frameworks.
  • Strong front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Vue and NuxtJs.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity containerization (e.g., Docker)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Design, install, configure, and manage database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) in a high-availability production environment.
  • Ensure database backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures are effective and tested regularly.
  • Continuously monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning measures to optimize performance.
  • Analyze query performance and recommend improvements in application queries or indexes.
  • Regularly review user access and permissions, and audit logs to ensure data access aligns with bank policies.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, including backup plans, clustering, and replication.
  • Establish high availability solutions, such as failover clustering, replication, and log shipping to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed documentation for database structures, configurations, processes, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly and accurately to minimize disruption to banking operations.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in banking, finance, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with RDBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Database Management Systems (DBMS): Strong knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Performance Tuning: Proficient in performance tuning techniques, including indexing, query optimization, and database configuration.
  • High Availability and Replication: Expertise in clustering, replication, log shipping, and failover mechanisms.
  • Backup and Recovery Tools: Experience with backup tools and disaster recovery solutions.
