Study Abroad Counsellor

Position Summary

A Study Abroad Counsellor guides students through the process of pursuing education overseas. This includes providing personalized advice on suitable programs and institutions, assisting with applications and visa processes, and offering support on pre-departure preparations to ensure a smooth transition to studying abroad.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide counselling services on study and visa applications to clients 
  • Provide general administrative support to the Study Abroad Resource Centre 
  • Ensure that all clients are professionally served, and a feedback system is effectively implemented 
  • Participate in the development and implementation of promotion campaigns and branding strategies 
  • Assist in event management (e.g. Study Abroad Expos)
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Previous related experience is highly preferred 
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken) 
  • Good organizational ability, customer service skills, and communication skills 
Soft Skills
  • Strong commitment to professional integrity and ethical conduct
