SS Performing Arts Technician

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support services to the curriculum area, ensuring availability of safe and well-maintained equipment, inventory, resources, materials and supporting teaching staff and students in the Performing Arts department.
- Provide instructional support for students engaged in Performing Arts learning with materials, equipment, instruments and tools, ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Provide logistical and practical support for Secondary School productions and performing arts festivals, including liaising with local organisations and artists.
- Systematise, manage, and maintain inventory and delegate material resources effectively in a way that promotes and supports students’ practical learning.
- Support training and supervision of student use of specialist materials and equipment (lighting, sound, and set equipment).
- English - Fluent
- Postgraduate Degree in the Performing Arts, media or related field or or equivalent technical qualification.
- At least experience working in relevant field for 3 years
- Knowledge of storage, maintenance and handling of specialist materials and equipment.
- Fluency and accuracy in English (oral and written)
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Adept with technology platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and the use of spreadsheets
- Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills
