Location : EFB, International French School of Battambang
Report To : School Principal, vie scolaire.
We are seeking a sports instructor to animate extracurricular sports activities every Saturday morning during the school year, and during school holidays (4 times, 2 weeks holidays, morning time, during the school year, from September to June; and summer holidays during the month of July morning time ).
The candidate will be responsible to propose activities, arrange the communication to parents, organize and manage the activities.
Activities must be carried out preferably in French or English, alternatively in Khmer. the students are aging from grade 1 to grade 7.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Activities to Propose
- The sport instructor will propose in writing sports activities to the school management, detailing equipment requirements, safety aspects, planning, organization.
- Communication
- The sport instructor will coordinate, with the communication officer of the school, the execution of posts to communicate to parents before the activity starts
- Organization and Management
- The sport instructor will organize and manage the preparatory works prior to the sports sessions, including finalizing the registration of the student with the “vie scolaire”, execute the necessary purchases, implement safety measures as appropriate, and finally execute the sessions.
- The school will procure the necessary equipment et staff as required.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- English - Fluent
- Khmer is preferred
- French is preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Work History:
- Sports activities in schools for 3 years as a minimum

General & Technical Skills
- Skills: Focused on safety associated with sport, Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to manage and stimulate cooperation, challenges…
- Language: Fluency in English. French skills are an advantage. Khmer is a plus
