Sourcing Assistant

The job is located at La Plantation in Kampot Province, Cambodia.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will work closely and assist the Sourcing Manager in order to fulfill the following missions:
- Manage the company supply portfolio and ensure transparency of spending
- Manage the purchases based on the crop calendar
- Analyze, calculate and schedule the costs of procurement
- Sign agreements with our suppliers, the small farmers and follow-up them through-out the year
- Check that contracted farmers comply with Fairtrade principles, good agricultural practices and monitor hygiene and food safety measures
- Continuously look for new sources of supply for products that fit or complement the company's range of products
- Discover and partner with trustworthy partners and vendors
- Participate in the quality checking of the goods
- Work closely with the supply chain manager to avoid stock-outs or delays in product supply chains and anticipate the needs of products
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in agriculture
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Graduate in agriculture
- Proven work experience as sourcing manager or procurement manager
- Understanding of the FOOD/AGRICULTURAL market in Cambodia
- Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
- Driving License
