Since 2002, we have been implementing education, health, child protection, environment, and income generation projects in Cambodia.

Position Summary

Contract type: 1-year contract with the possibility of extension

Location: Head Office, Phnom Penh

Reporting to: Fundraising and Strategic Development Manager

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This job is an intensive, high-growth opportunity tailored to an upcoming digital creator who is driven by our mission and a desire to learn. You will gain immediate ownership over tasks that make an important, real-world difference.

Do you worry that the work is too difficult for you? Don’t! We, will provide full mentorship and support to help you manage the workload, master new professional equipment, and excel in this role. Your passion for learning is far more important than your previous work experience or current skillset.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Creative Content & Project Ownership (70%)
  • Run the Content Plan: Actively generate new, engaging ideas for video and photo stories (targeting 150 unique pieces over 11 months).
  • Work with Other Creators: Actively seek and coordinate collaboration opportunities with local and international content creators, influencers, and media partners.
  • Full Production: Conduct interviews, operate new professional video/photo equipment, edit content, and serve as the on-screen host for content that celebrates Cambodian culture.
  • Design App Features: Use Figma to design initial mock-ups and wireframes for the development of our new app features, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Community Management: Master the process of uploading, scheduling, and responding to comments in the app's global community section.
  • Global Communication & Operations (30%)
  • International Liaison: Prepare materials for and participate in meetings with international advisory board members and partners.
  • Recipient Family Support: Provide logistical assistance and problem-solving support to recipient families in Cambodia, ensuring smooth communication and program participation.
  • Campaign Support: Manage logistics for crowdfunding events, including communication with schools, health centers, and community people, tracking donations, and organizing reward fulfillment.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Support alpha and beta testing for our new mobile app, thoroughly checking new features and reporting bugs to ensure high quality before launch.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate project files and track action items to keep the fast-moving project organized.
