- Monday – Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: OFF
- Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview
We are looking for a enthusiastic and reliable Skate Counter and Coach Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in daily rink operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, maintaining gear, and supporting our head inline skating coach during instructional sessions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Counter & Equipment Operations
- Manage the skate counter, assisting customers with skate rentals, fitting, and gear distribution.
- Oversee and maintain the Hockey Room, ensuring gear is organized, clean, and properly stored.
- Perform routine maintenance and care on rental skates and equipment.
- Customer Service & Rink Supervision
- Provide friendly and attentive service to customers during all operational hours.
- Monitor the rink floor to ensure safety standards are met and address any improper behavior on or off the ice/rink.
- Handle audio and sound system setup/support during public skating sessions.
- Coaching Support
- Serve as an assistant to Head Inline Skating Coach Yen Maneth during scheduled training sessions and classes.
- Assist in organizing drills, managing equipment, and supporting students during coaching sessions.
- Note: Core duties may evolve over time based on operational needs.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of or passion for inline skating/ice sports (prior equipment maintenance experience is a plus).
- Ability to enforce safety rules gently but firmly.
- High energy and willingness to learn standard maintenance procedures and sound system equipment.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and comfortable working weekend shifts.
