Role Purpose
The Shop Manager is the operational backbone of Interwoven. This role runs the day-to-day shop, production flow, and client experience.
This role starts very hands-on — coordinating with a small part-time team while handling much of the daily work yourself. As the business grows, this role will shift to more of oversight and leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Shop & Production Operations
- Manage daily atelier workflow; serve as the coordination bridge between tailors, pattern cutters, and atelier staff to ensure smooth production flow; assign tasks and schedules; track production timelines; oversee quality control; monitor stock and materials inventory; liaise with fabric and supply partners.
- Order & Client Management
- Oversee client appointments and fittings; track orders from measurement to delivery; maintain client communication; resolve service issues; maintain organized client records.
- Retail & Brand Support
- Maintain boutique presentation standards; support in-store experiences, events, and brand activations.
- Process Building
- Document studio procedures; introduce simple systems for tracking orders, schedules, and inventory; identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements.
- Founder Support (Right-Hand Function)
- Translate creative direction into operational action; anticipate and resolve issues; act as day-to-day decision point when the founder is unavailable; ensure smooth daily business flow.
