Service Innovation Medical Doctor
Reporting to: Clinical Director
Probationary Period: 3 months
Contract Duration: 12 months
The Service Innovation Medical Doctor is responsible for the development and implementation of Marie Stopes International Cambodia’s (MSIC) clinic service diversification development. The position will be responsible for the developing and training the new service to the service providers as part of service diversification to ensure women and men in Cambodia receive a comprehensive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services they need. S/he work collaboratively and across all existing channels to achieve MSIC’s mission and goals.
- Clinic Service Innovation Development
- Maintain a good understanding of the Cambodian healthcare context, and in particular, the women’s health and reproductive healthcare context, and identify market service opportunities for MSIC
- Identify areas of potential service growth for the MSIC clinic
- Oversee the development and implementation of new service set up for MSIC’s clinic, including the setting up service package, guidance on service offering to clients, consultation and treatment
- Train service providers on new service development/setup
- Assist/support providers in analysing the client's medical information
- Ensure all MSIC clinic providers have the capacity and resources to implement MSIC’s new services
- Monitor the service roll out/ implementation and provide support as require
- Identify ways in which MSIC’s new service can be enhanced, ensuring the efficiency of healthcare service delivery
- Adapt MSI global clinic guidelines, systems and processes, where necessary. Utilize best practices and lessons learned from other MSI country programs.
- Service Provision and Quality Assure on Innovation service
- Offer service provision including consultation to clients when required
- Ensure that the MSIC clinic network delivers the service innovation set up and continues to deliver with a quality assurance
- Work closely with the MSIC Clinical Director to ensure quality service provision
- Provide clinical input to MSIC Center services through participating in the center working group meetings.
- Qualifications
- Graduated and qualified as a Medical Doctor
- Understanding of Ultrasound and Para medical diagnosis
- Understanding of disease mechanisms, diagnostics, and treatment protocols
- Holding a valid medical license for medical practice in Cambodia CMC
- Understanding of laboratory analysis and interpretation laboratory result test
- High spirit of ethics, responsibility, and professionalism
- Experience:
- Be able to train, and quality assure (through presential coaching and client record reviews) for all the management and preventive services linked to SRH needs of a woman's life span
- Experience in private health care and commercial mindset to seek opportunities, reshape operational set ups and support marketing messages to make them attractive and medically sound.
- Experiences in outpatient consultation, STI and SRH, Gyneco- Obstetric
- Experience in clinical service delivery in line with national protocol/SOP
- Experience in Risk health care management
- At least five years of professional medical experience
- Experience in emergency medical management
- Experience in training session and facilitator skill
