Senior Technician
Reports to: Duty Engineer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
Under the guidance of the Duty Engineer ensures that the Hotels equipment is operated in accordance with hotel standards to ensure maximum efficacies and guest satisfaction.
- Interacts and cooperates with hotel guests and outside contractors as directed by his superior.
- Cooperates and communicates with other sections in the Engineering Department.
- Interacts and cooperates with other departments to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities.
- Responsible for the proper organization and functioning of all repairs and maintenance work
- Ensures that hotels rules are followed and obeyed.
- Ensures that punctual attendance and adherence to duty schedules by all subordinate staff.
- Ensures that personal grooming and hygiene standards are being observed.
- Ensures all subordinate staff follows the Engineering standards and policies & procedure as issued from time to time.
- Coordinates with the other department the PM schedule for equipment and guestrooms.
- Prepare work orders for PM work on guestrooms, public area, and service area and follow up on daily basis.
- Is responsible for completion and correct closing of work orders.
- Prepares a monthly maintenance status report.
- Establishes and maintains a complete record of room maintenance.
- Follow up all maintenance work order daily basis.
- Prepare spare parts list for related equipment when necessary.
- Follow up banquet function event offers daily and ensure that all necessary services are provided.
- Trains and develops the assigned employees in order to improve their skills and quality of work.
- Ensure that workshop and related areas are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Is a member of the hotel’s fire brigade and participates in all fire drills/training.
- Recommends to the Assistant Chief Engineer, new policies and procedures for more economical operation and maintenance program.
- Carries out all necessary tests for life safety system such as smoke detector, fore hose, fire pumps etc.
- Complies with hotel’s health, safety & hygiene policy.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Associate degree in Mechanical & Electrical. Works related field of study repair maintenance issues including electrical, plumbing,
- A/C, heating, HVAC, pools, appliances, water irrigation, tile, carpet, walls, flooring and roofing
- Minimum 3 Year experience in engineering department,
- Good command of English both spoken & written. Good knowledge of computer skill,
- Be flexible of working time and patient on the job,
- Be honest responsible, flexible. Good attitude and friendly,
- Good interpersonal skills and team work,
- Good communication skill, self – motivation.
Nurse
Reports to: Doctor
Liaises With:
- Purchasing
- Asst. HR Manager
- Senior HR Executive
- HR Coordinator
- Prepare and give medicine to the patients.
- Control patients' vital Signs (Temperatures, Blood pressure, Rhythm, respiratory ….)
- Record daily medical inventory/expense.
- Check the expiration date of the medicines.
- Refill First-aids to first-aid boxes with first aid and refresh knowledge on how to use them.
- Fold dressings.
- Record a monthly number of patients.
- Visit hospitalized staff and report the condition to the Department Concerned and Asst. HR Manager.
- Request fresh water and plastic glasses for staff taking medicines.
- Perform related duties as requested or assigned.
- Refer the seriously sick / accident to the outside hospital or clinics in case of absence of a doctor
- Update medical history, diagnosis, and the medical expenses in the employee’s file.
- Explain to the employees how to take care of their health.
- Visit and provide first aid to the guests, then recommend him /her to the clinic outside if
- Male/Female
- High school diploma.
- Nurse certificate
- Age: 22 years old or above
- At least 1 year of experience with many hospitals and clinics
- Has some knowledge of medical treatment
- Computer knowledge: Ms. Word and Excel
- Understanding of the Basic French language
- Be able to communicate in English.
