Senior Sales Executive (1 Position)
General Description:
The incumbent would report under Ocean Operations Manager. The primary function of the work-stream and of the role of Field Sales Manager is to achieve sales plan objectives with assigned SME clients and targets by effectively selling DB Schenker products.
- Top line growth! Develop and implement strategic plans to sustainably increase revenue.
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals and contracts
- Develop new business and act as a primary point of liaison with the client on all business-related matters
- Ensure the Sales Budget, Revenue Target and Margin Target are achieved. Monitor KPIs and drive action plan
- Develop and improve Sales Plans for Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Logistics.
- Perform quality and timely update and maintenance of the data in CRM (Sales Claud) and monitor use of Customer Applications.
- Increase new business and maintain existing customers.
- Increase DB Schenker’s awareness in the local market.
- Identification of potential customers and building relationships.
- Ensure all RFQ (request for quotation) are replied to within the time specified.
- Generate qualified sales leads and followed up regularly.
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with local sales staff for exchange of market information.
- Perform sales calls and arrange joint calls with operation.
- Report on business development and related market intelligence, market research and competitor analysis
- Perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Sales & Marketing/ Foreign Trade /Economics or equivalent
- Must have experience in Sales of international freight/ forwarding/ logistic company 3-5 Years
- Good command of English, Chinese is a plus
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Good communication skill, efficiency in time management, high accuracy and patience and problem-solving skill
- Able to successfully execute the sales process
