Senior Merchandiser for Sweater Item
Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
- Responsibilities are as follows:
- Understand the customer needs and develop an effective sourcing plan.
- Work closely with vendors, customers and internal teams to follow-up from sourcing, development and orders in driving on-time delivery.
- Negotiate price and timeline to prepare cost sheet and Test & Acceptance.
- Provide quality customer service. Assist in product development process to ensure that products meet customers' satisfaction on quality and budget requirements.
- Arrange sample submission to customers for approval.
- Maintain business relationship. Maintain a strong relationship with vendors for production development and production
- To qualify for these roles, you should have knowledge of merchandising, apparel quality system and standards, manufacturing and material and ability to understand the end customer needs.
- You should also have at least 5+ years of experience in Sweater ideally covering US market,
- Degree in Diploma or above in merchandizing or related discipline. English and Chinese comprehension are preferred as well as knowledge of computer literate in Ms. Word, Excel, Internet and E-mail are required.
- Having an aggressive attitude to always strive for delivering results and a good grasp of details.
- Being effective in managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and cool under pressure and flexible in handling ad hoc tasks as they come.
