Senior MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) Engineer

Working hours: Mon- Sat 8:00-17:00
- Oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project design schedule deliverables and push up progress work.
- Plan the work and efficiently organize the construction schedule in order to meet agreed deadline and keep updating it
- Manage daily operation on site to ensure the successful completion of the project by the required time, budget and quality constrains.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Check and approve the progress payment with sub-contractors.
- Review and give opinion on Request for Change, Request for Information (RFC/RFI) occurred during construction phase. Contents of reviewing include, but are not limited to: necessity of change, cost variation, schedule variation. Etc.
- Give advice to sub-contractors and team members such Engineer, Technician, and workers.
- Develop and manage new method and strategy for improving and speeding up the project.
- Monitoring and liaise with project manager on the master plan and execution plan.
- Supervise, manage and motivate all site team including effective management of subcontractor activities on site ensuring they are engaged on target in line with the master program.
- Manage workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards
- Support project manager in develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
- Liaise with the appointed design consultant; Be involved in all stages of projects such as concept design, design development, detail design.
- Control/ Manage/ Monitor/ Checking / Review all design drawing (Typical Drawing, Construction Drawing, Shop drawing) before transferring to another department. Contents of checking should be included, but are not limited to:
- Appropriateness to project requirements.
- Compliance with MEP legal regulation, MEP design codes.
- Effectiveness (Balance between cost and quality)
- Construction ability
- Check risks caused by design (If any)
- *Supporting other department in design work, both technically and legally(if any)
- *Supporting material & cost management.
- Other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
- Master or bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing related in MEP department.
- Minimum 6 years working experience of PMC Site Management or MEP Design company.
- Coordinate / Manage / Monitor MEP drawing between Design company and contractor for review and checking shop drawing are submit from contractor before proceed work on site.
- Experience in defining/developing project management processes, methods.
- Strong knowledge of project management.
- Very good in communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build strong, productive program.
- Computer literacy in Ms. Office, Ms. Project, Auto CAD Revit LT or another relevant computer MEP design program.
- Excellent in communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Work well in a team and be well presented with a professional manner.
- High ability to communicate in English or other languages;
- Be a problem solver, able to work under pressure with high responsibility.
Architectural Engineer
