The Marketing & Communications Manager translates Artisans Angkor’s creative vision into stories, campaigns, and experiences that inspire both local and global audiences.
Working under the guidance of the Creative & Brand Director, they ensure that every message, from digital platforms to in-store storytelling, reflects the house’s artistic integrity, cultural depth, and emotional resonance.
For more than 20 years, Artisans Angkor has been anchored in Siem Reap’s international tourism landscape. As part of the AA 2.0 transformation, this role is central in expanding and diversifying demand across three strategic axes:
- Local Tourism: positioning the Living Museum and Angkor Silk Farm as must-experience cultural destinations for Cambodian families, youth, and domestic travelers seeking meaningful discovery.
- Lifestyle & Cultural Luxury: cultivating a strong local customer base by reinforcing Artisans Angkor as Cambodia’s contemporary lifestyle maison, expanding desire for design, fashion, home, and cultural objects grounded in Khmer craftsmanship.
- International Tourism: retaining and strengthening AA’s leadership position by deepening the experience of both cultural sites, enriching interpretation, storytelling, and visitor engagement to meet the expectations of global cultural travelers.

- Brand Communication & Storytelling
- Translate the creative vision defined by the Creative & Brand Director into compelling, cohesive communication across all channels.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns aligned with Artisans Angkor’s brand pillars (Creation as Core, Innovation in Design, Artistic Expression, Global Contribution).
- Create emotionally resonant content narratives for digital, retail, and press highlighting artisans, materials, and cultural stories.
- Craft and manage press releases, newsletters, and media kits that position Artisans Angkor as a leader in Cultural Luxury and travel experiences.
- Digital & Social Media Leadership
- Oversee digital content strategy, ensuring visual and verbal coherence with the brand’s creative identity.
- Manage social media calendars, website updates, and e-commerce storytelling, ensuring tone alignment with AA’s brand guideline.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to produce content that is cinematic, authentic, and distinctly Khmer.
- Monitor performance and engagement analytics, translating insights into creative and strategic improvements.
- Campaign & Event Coordination
- Support the Creative & Brand Director in the execution of collection launches, exhibitions, collaborations, and retail campaigns.
- Manage project timelines and cross-team coordination for storytelling initiatives, capsule drops, and cultural activations.
- Ensure that all campaign visuals, copy, and media align with AA 2.0’s tone: elegant, rooted, and globally resonant.
- Media, Partnerships & CRM
- Maintain relationships with media partners, journalists, influencers, cultural collaborators and travel industry partners.
- Coordinate PR opportunities and brand features in luxury, design, and cultural publications.
- Oversee CRM and loyalty communications, ensuring personalized and meaningful engagement with clients and partners.
- Support event communications, invitations, and customer journeys for VIP activations and exhibitions.
- English - Fluent
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand storytelling, ideally in luxury, craft, or cultural sectors.
- Deep understanding of visual storytelling, digital engagement, and brand experience.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills; able to express complexity with simplicity and beauty.
- Strong project management skills, creative, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Sensitive to cultural identity and craftsmanship; fluent in English (Khmer and/or French a plus).

- Integrated Brand & Communications Leadership
- Supervise the Marketing & Communications Manager and ensure alignment between creation and storytelling.

Guided by the Creative & Brand Director’s vision, this role combines strategic leadership, commercial insight, and emotional intelligence to deliver excellence in every aspect of customer experience where service becomes storytelling and commerce becomes culture.

- Retail & Sales Strategy
- Define and execute the retail and commercial strategy aligned with Artisans Angkor’s creative and brand direction.
- Develop multi-channel growth plans: flagship stores, airport boutiques, hospitality collaborations, and B2B partnerships.
- Ensure coherence across all retail spaces, reflecting AA’s aesthetic codes, cultural narrative, and premium standards.
