- Lead and take initiative to identify the potential research project with a comprehensive study of research objective, methodology and conceptualization, data analysis, write reports, publications, and dissemination activities.
- Actively seek and propose potential research opportunities
- Design research proposal
- Write report and present outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with deal sourcing team and management team to identify potential deals using the research conclusion or deliverables.
- Use research outcome to identify areas of focus for deals team.
- Use research outcome to support in every step of a deal, including deal origination, negotiations, and closing.
- Lead the team to conduct pre-feasibility or feasibility studies to evaluate the viability or the proposed projects or investments.
- Assess technical, financial, and viability of the project to inform go/no-go decisions.
- Conduct or take parts in interviews, meetings, workshops, or other events with all relevant stakeholders to gather primary data necessary for research.
- Primary research exercise with relevant stakeholders in public and private sector.
- Manage research workstreams with research team members, from scoping to delivery, ensuring timeliness, quality, and relevance
- Allocate tasks and guide team to ensure on-time completion and quality of deliverables
- Master Degree or higher, preferably in real estate, finance, economics, business management, public policy or other relevant fields.
- At least three years of research experience in economics, finance, trade, public policy, and related field.
- Abilities to communicate findings and strong communication skills
- Commitment to mentoring and professional development of young researchers.
- Be numerically proficient, analytically strong, and articulate.
- To have strong interest in real estate sector, manufacturing sector, tourism sector, and financial sector.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
- Self-motivated and driven individual with a passion for excellence
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage task
