The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is a Cambodian non-for-profit research institution established in 1953, IPC is today a scientific research establishment declared of public utility placed under the high patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia and under the responsibility of the Institute Pasteur on the scientific and technical levels. The IPC is a member of the Pasteur Network, which brings together 33 institutes present on five continents. It shares the Pasteurian values and the ethical charter to which the Pasteur Institutes are bound. The IPC has more than 300 employees, including about 30 expatriates of 10 nationalities and includes 6 research units. It carries out research activities in health biology, public health and service activities (Medical Biology Laboratory, vaccinations and water and food analyses) and training.

Position Summary

The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is seeking a motivated and qualified Senior IT Officer & Digital Automation Lead to reinforce its Information Technology Service.

As a Senior IT Officer & Digital Automation Lead, you will support the head of IT service with implementation of new technologies to sustain the growth of IPC & as well as participate in daily IT administration and support tasks. Additionally, you will be in charge of creating mentoring sessions for IPC staff to increase their IT knowledge and the adoption of our newly implemented MS365 environment. Finally, you will be requested to lead the Digital Process Automation program, that will aim at helping IPC support services in automating some of their tasks, increasing efficiency and internal customers satisfaction.

Recruitment conditions:

Contract: The initial contract is offered for 1 year (renewable)

Remote Work: Possibility to work remotely, subject to job role and management approval

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the Head of IT service with:
Installation & Administration of Windows & Linux servers
Monitoring of resources
Backups management
Support for IT requests (PC, Mac, Printers, Switches problems)
Automation software engineering:
Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using SharePoint 365, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
Develop SharePoint-based document management systems, lists, forms, and approval workflows.
Develop IPC intranet and knowledge database. Collaborate with the different support & research units of IPC to ensure the deployment and maintenance of automated applications and Chatbots
Promote usage of institutional technologies. Lead or participate in internal courses regularly organized by IT for IPC staff.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection standards.

Expected Profile of Candidates

Languages:

English - Fluent is preferred

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply)

Skills & Knowledge:

General & Technical Skills

Experience in IT enterprise environment (Active Directory/Entra ID)
Experience in virtualization with VMWare ESXi
Good IT problems troubleshooting skills
Good overview of the current field of Automation+AI systems
Operative knowledge of 365 applications/ecosystem (Sharepoint, Onedrive, PowerAutomate)
Previous experience in developing automation/AI agents (PowerAutomate, N8N, Clawbot)
Strong project management skills
