Senior IT Officer
Position Circumstances

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the bank’s network, server, virtualization, backup, and security infrastructure.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, routing, switching, firewall policies, VPNs, SD-WAN, and High Availability (HA) solutions.
- Administer and support VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including physical and virtual servers.
- Manage Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and web hosting services.
- Implement and maintain secure remote access solutions, including IPsec VPN, SSL VPN, and ZTNA.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity using monitoring tools and perform proactive troubleshooting.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, including backup verification, restoration testing, and recovery procedures.
- Perform system patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening to maintain security and stability.
- Provide Level 1–3 technical support for network, server, virtualization, and security-related issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support critical banking systems, including Core Banking System (CBS), CMS, ATM, HSM, SWIFT, and related services.
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, configuration backups, software licenses, and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, regulatory requirements, and banking industry best practices.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, system upgrades, technology implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members when required.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
Work History:
- Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration, preferably in banking or financial services for 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing and switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Solid experience with VMware virtualization and both Windows Server and Linux Server administration.
- Practical experience with backup, disaster recovery, and IT security hardening.
- Good understanding of IT security principles and regulatory compliance.
- Good communication skills in [English and Khmer].
Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
