Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Finance & Investment Analyst to act as a right-hand analytical assistant to the General Manager. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on financial analysis, accounting review, and investment evaluation across multiple business initiatives in Cambodia.
Job Location: mainly in Phnom Penh, involves traveling to Bavet and Kampong Cham
Reporting Line: Directly reports to the General Manager (Mr. Stone)

Working days: Monday to Saturday
Working hours: 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm
- Financial & Accounting Analysis
- Analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review cost structures and cash-flow positions
- Investment & Business Analysis
- Build and review financial models
- Perform IRR, NPV, payback, and sensitivity analysis
- Conduct scenario and risk analysis
- Management Support
- Prepare briefing notes and management summaries
- Support strategic and investment decision-making
- Cross-Functional & Ad-hoc Support
- Coordinate with accounting, legal, and external advisors
- Support special projects assigned by the Principal
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion

- Chinese - Simplified - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- Master's Degree in (MBA, Msc Finance/Accounting/Economics) is preferred
- Relevant professional experience for 5 to 10 years
- At least in finance-intensive roles, such as: o Corporate finance / FP&A for 3 to 5 years
- Investment analysis / private equity o Transaction advisory / consulting
- Senior accounting with analytical focus
- Proven experience in financial modeling and investment evaluation
- Professional Certifications (Preferred) CPA, ACCA, CFA (Level I or above), CMA, or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / financial modeling (Required)
- Strong accounting literacy (Required)
- Ability to prepare clear financial summaries and presentations (Required)
- Experience with project finance and investment modeling (Preferred)
- Familiarity with tax, structuring, or corporate finance concepts (Preferred)
- Exposure to ERP / accounting systems (Preferred)
- English: Fluent in both written and spoken English (mandatory) – able to prepare professional reports and presentations
- Chinese (Mandarin): Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese is strongly preferred – significant advantage for stakeholder communication
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- High attention to detail with strategic judgment
- Independent worker with minimal supervision
- Effective communicator able to distill complex analysis
