Senior Engineer – Electrical O&M
Position Circumstances

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transmission Line O&M – 230kV
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of 230kV transmission lines.
- Organize routine line patrols, tower inspections, thermographic inspections, and drone inspections.
- Inspect and monitor conductors, OPGW, insulator strings, hardware fittings, dampers, earthing systems, and tower foundations.
- Coordinate vegetation management within the transmission line corridor.
- Monitor third-party activities near the Right-of-Way (ROW).
- Prepare defect reports and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate planned outages with EDC / National Control Centre.
- Prepare switching schedules and outage requests.
- Ensure safe isolation and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
- Monitor system availability and reliability.
- Participate in fault investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- 230kV Substation O&M
- Manage maintenance of 230kV circuit breakers, disconnectors/isolators, earthing switches, CTs, CVTs/PTs, lightning arresters, protection & control panels, SCADA/RTU equipment, control cables, and marshalling kiosks.
- Supervise and perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, functional testing, shutdown maintenance, and emergency repairs.

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Work History:
- Operations and maintenance for transmission line and substation projects for 7 years as a minimum

Substation Operator
Position Circumstances

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor substation equipment, SCADA, energy meters, and control & protection panel alarms on a daily basis.
- Record voltage levels, power flow, and temperature readings accurately.
- Detect and report equipment malfunctions or circuit overloads immediately.
- Conduct physical walk-throughs to check for leaks or damage.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on substation parameters and energy transfer, and coordinate with the Client, EDC, and NCC teams.
- Issue clearance during shutdowns, maintain lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure equipment is fully de-energized before repairs.
- Coordinate with the line patrol and supervisor teams during line tripping events and any required emergency shutdowns.
