Our core activities in Cambodia include Liner Agency, Port Agency, Offshore Support Services, Project Logistics and Freight Forwarding. The Ben Line Group has 1600 staff and 125 offices across Asia and Australia. It has been operating as a Shipping Company for 160 years, originally from Scotland, head office is now in Singapore.

We are looking for a Cambodian candidate to fulfill one position as with the following description:

Position Summary

Department – Logistics & Chemical Solution

Category - Shipping & Logistics

Working Hour - 8:30-12:00 am and 13:00-17:30 pm

Working Day - Monday to Saturday (noon)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Handle export/ import shipments from/ to Cambodia according to all given requirements and rules; regulations externally as well as internally including SOP. Take care of customer service and documentation.
  • Receiving booking requests/ shipment information from Customers/ Worldwide Agent Network/ Sales Team - arrange booking with Carriers/ Airlines/ Co-loaders/ Oversea agents & process the shipping with related parties.
  • Checking and issuing all related docs for outbound & inbound shipment. Make all documents (Bill of Lading, filling AMS/ ISF, sending pre-alert, submit import E-manifest, sending Arrival Notice & release D/O…) to complete the import - export process.
  • Tracing/ updating and coordinating with Carriers/ Airlines/ Co-loaders/ Overseas agent network/ Local service vendors to handle shipments smoothly and ensure shipment operation.
  • Follow up process of transportation, handle the information and solve situations.
  • Issue the Debit Note for Customer/ Overseas agent and make payment to Carriers/ Airlines/ Co-loaders/ Local service suppliers timely.
  • Have good knowledge about services information to provide best service to Customers.
  • Solve problems with Airlines, Carriers, oversea Agents, Customers.
  • Input all required data on the system and maintain it.
  • Reporting immediately for any irregularities/ problems and follow up problem solving to Manager.
  • Doing additional tasks of a leader that is assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant majors
Work History:
  • Forwarding – Logistics company at Operations/ Customer Service/ Documentation position, familiar to handle Freehand/Controlled cargoes for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Good skills of computers; Microsoft Office
  • Good at reading, written in English, good communication is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate well, be agile, speak fluently, present persuasively, make a good impression on listeners.
  • Having experience in US/South America, Canada trade lane is an advantage.
  • Understanding of foreign trade and forwarding/ logistics services (Incoterms, NVOCC, FCL/LCL, Airfreight, Warehousing, Inland Trucking/ Customs Clearance...)
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work independent and teamwork, have good health, be honest in work, have a sense of responsibility & self-discipline.
  • Being careful, attention to detail, hardworking, enthusiasm, initiative in work, perseverance, determination to complete tasks.
  • Ability to work under high pressure and multitask required.

Position Summary

Department – Liner Agency

Category - Shipping & Logistics

Working Hour - 8:30-12:00 am and 13:00-17:30 pm

Working Day - Monday to Saturday (noon)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Export Documentation Responsibilities:
  • Received booking from shipper.
  • Booking space to feeder/barge.
  • Release booking to shipper.
  • Communicate with customers and agents.
  • Issue MBL to customers.
  • Issue invoice to customer.
  • Follow up shipment.
  • Provide pre-alert to destination agent/transit team.
  • Update container movement.
  • Other tasks requested by Management
  • Import Documentation Responsibilities:
  • Provide arrival notice once received pre-alert from POL agent/feeder.
  • Communicate with customer and agent
  • Issue invoice to customer.
  • Submit customs manifest for MBL.
  • Release D/O to customer.
  • Checking and refund deposit to customer.
  • Update container movement.
  • Other tasks requested by Management
