Senior Certified Midwife/Nurse

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Certified Midwife or Nurse (Non-Clinical) to manage our MCH project in Siem Reap Province.

Salary: To be decided based on qualification and experience

Required Qualification: Midwifery and/or nurse certification

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the MCH project, including setting target & KPI, supervising schedules, collecting data, ensuring quality control, implementing cost-saving measures for effective execution.
  • Facilitate community involvement in assigned activities such as training and workshops, at the Operational District, Health Centers and community levels independently.
  • Monitor the capacity building and learning process of the target population and prepare proposals for Country Director/Project Manager to address any issues.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders and counterparts.
  • Supervise PHJ field staff, providing training and instruction on technical health-related knowledge, and develop proposals for new projects aligned with PHJ’s vision.
  • Prepare monthly reports, activity reports, and other reports for submission to the PHJ HQ and the Cambodian Government.
  • No medical procedure will be performed in this role.
Requirements:
  • Midwife and/or Nurse certification is mandatory
  • More than 5 years of working experience in the health sector is required.
  • Having more than 2-year working experience in the field of community health development or public health is an asset.
  • Community development experience in collaboration with health center staff is preferable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in English (Our office language is English, and all meetings and report writing are conducted in English)
  • PC skills (Microsoft Office applications).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and compliant
  • Ability to communicate politely with counterparts
  • Strong commitment to assigned work.
  • Prior working experience in an NGO is preferable.
  • Being familiar with and able to work with the international standards
 
 

Junior Certified Midwife/Nurse

  • Salary: $400 - $500
Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Certified Midwife or Nurse (Non-Clinical) to manage our MCH project in Siem Reap Province.

Salary: To be decided based on qualification and experience

Required Qualification: Midwifery and/or nurse certification

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance in executing the project under the Senior Midwives or Nurses’ instruction
  • Set up meetings, trainings, and workshops, ensuring that venues are prepared with necessary materials and equipment
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the project execution
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders such as VHSG and families, HC staff, and OD staff.
  • Assist in supporting tasks as needed to ensure the proper completion of the project.
  • No medical procedure will be performed in this role.
Requirements:
  • Midwife and/or Nurse certification is mandatory
