Senior Case Worker (1 Position)

Duties and requirements
We’re seeking a compassionate, dedicated individual to join the Voice team and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by Thalassaemia in Cambodia.
Thalassaemia is a genetic blood disorder that requires lifelong care. Through our Thalassaemia Assistance Project (TAP), we work directly with patients and their families to:
- Ensure access to essential medical treatments.
- Address the socioeconomic challenges of living with a chronic illness.
- Manage a life-saving blood donation program to assist volunteer blood donors to donate blood to enable people with Thalassaemia to receive the blood transfusions they need to survive.

- Experience providing psychosocial support to sick or chronically ill people.
- Empathy and understanding for people living with chronic illness
- Knowledge of the health system and blood donation system in Cambodia.
- Knowledge of child protection and working with vulnerable people.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and planning skills for crisis support.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including government officials and foreigners.
- Good written and spoken Khmer and English language.
- Relevant background or qualifications in social work, psychology, or health.
- Values of respect, dignity, empowerment, integrity, and compassion.
Case Worker (1 Position)

- Demonstrated empathy and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people in crisis.
- Experience providing case management and/or psychosocial support to individuals and families.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and planning skills required for assessing client needs, creating support plans, and delivering effective crisis intervention.
- Knowledge of child protection principles and commitment to values of respect, dignity, empowerment, integrity, and compassion.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with diverse clients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to adapt, learn quickly on the job, and follow instructions effectively.
- Confidence and skill in engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including government officials.
- Competency in written and spoken Khmer and English language
- Relevant background or qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling, case management, or community development.
