HURREDO was officially registered and recognized by the Ministry of Interior in January 2000 (Number:057). We have skills and experiences working in agronomy, agribusiness, fishery, aquaculture, forestry, livelihood, Water, WASH and health.

Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Responses
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, filing, correspondence, document management.
  • Support office logistics, meeting arrangements.
  • Assist with procurement and asset documentation.
  • Support organization events, training or workshop.
  • Maintain update staff records, contracts, HR documentation accordance internal policies labor law.
  • Assist in maintaining staff timesheets, leave records, attendance tracking, staff files.
  • Support HR processes related to staff orientation, performance and staff capacity development.
  • Provide efficient administrative and office support to ensure smooth organizational operations.
  • Finance Responses
  • Check disbursements, cash advance and settlement.
  • Prepare financial vouchers (AV, RV, JV & PV) based on the type of transaction such as advance, income and expenditure.
  • Handles bank transactions.
  • Retains and ensures of petty cash fund to be reviewed and updated.
  • Prepare receipts for funds received.
  • Accountably manage ongoing cash flow.
  • Records all transactions into accounting software (or encodes in designated financial system).
  • Keeps all income and expenditure documents including receipts, invoices, and payment vouchers in filing system.
  • Assist in monitoring and verifying all transactions of expenditure to ensure accuracy, budget codes and budget line.
  • Ensuring documentation relating to payments is duly approved by the related manager/s.
  • Prepare financial reports.
  • Maintains supporting documents and records of financial transactions for the number of years required by local government regulation.
  • Ensures an up to date supporting document of purchases of all equipment/asset.
  • Ensures integration of new employees by briefing on HR policies and internal regulation in order to facilitate boarding processes.
  • Perform tasks under the Admin/Finance Manager’s supervision, execute administrative and legal related tasks.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and update personnel’s file in order to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time payments.
  • Regularly prepare monthly financial reports and timely submit to AFM.
  • Prepare and store documents in an orderly manner
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Prepare monthly Tax payment and NSSF payments.
  • Ensuring project implementation follows the guidelines of donors and regulation of government.
  • Must comply with and acknowledge HURREDO’s policies such as Financial, Personal, Gender Equality, Safeguarding Children & Young People, Procurement, Fraud and Anti-corruption and other HURREDO’s policies and donors’ policies.

  • Besides conducting the past job performance check with the provided reference, HURREDO will check with the reference on the case of child abuse as well.

  • English
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting and finance and administrative
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Computer skills: Good in Microsoft Word and Excel, QuickBook, email, PowerPoint/Canva presentation preparation skills.
  • Knowledge of English.
  • At least 4-5 years working related experience.
  • Ability to represent the organization to various governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations.
  • Willing and be able to learn and work with multiple donors.
