POSITION OVERVIEW
This part-time position is a fixed-term position (Monday, September 14 - Friday, December 11, 2026). The role of a teacher in the Secondary School is to support the academic and socio-emotional growth of students

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a commitment to the School’s Mission and Vision, curriculum, teaching and learning philosophy, including assessment and pedagogy
- Provide a learning environment that includes all students.
- Promote diverse representation of our student body in the department-wide curriculum.
- Actively contribute to the Advisory Programme through Home Group pastoral care and teaching the formal Advisory schedule that addresses student health and well-being.
- Present a positive image at all times, as an ambassador for the school and the IB.
- Contribute to the development, documentation and delivery of the curriculum in homeroom or single subjects
- Advocate and support the academic progress and pastoral care of all students
- Contribute to a positive, open and supportive teaching and learning environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and administration.
- Engage with the appraisal process and continual professional development, in all its forms
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree
- Master's Degree in the subject area
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Certification as a Secondary School Teacher (for example, Bachelor or Education, Graduate Diploma in Education or the equivalent)
- Fluency and accuracy in English (oral and written)
- Familiar with the use of email, spreadsheets, and Google Suite software.
Soft Skills
- Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
